mulled apple cider, sometime with a splash of whiskey or rum lol

Hot chocolate!

try not to let the seasonal depression get to me lol

.
Either Bookshops & Bonedust or Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree. There are a whole lot of heartwarming and charming moments in them.

I have a couple that I could list here – The Hobbit, or There and Back Again, Greenglass House, and Legends & Lattes.

QOTD: Do you have any winter reading traditions? (This could be a certain reading routine, a certain book you read every winter, a certain drink you only enjoy during the winter while you read, etc.)

I typically enjoy a cup of hot cocoa in the winter when I read.
I always like to re-read Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.
I also love reading wintry fantasy books.

I enjoy drinking hot cocoa on cold nights while I read. Also I enjoy reading a few Christmas books around this time every year to help get in the Christmas spirit.

Hot chocolate!

Hogwarts
Edit: or The Shire

the only one i can think of is moon of the crusted snow by waubgeshig rice

I like The Snow Child cover (and story too).

usually i read more. december is typically my best reading month, but i feel like i've been in a weird reading mood all year lol

i don't know of any that would fit lol

i don't read holiday themed books, so i never pay attention to their covers. the only one i can come up with is candy cain kills by brian mcauley because i wanna try and read that one next week for fun

I read less during the holiday season. I have several traditions that we do with our friends and family every year, so it keeps me pretty busy on the weekends!

The Christmas Spirit by Debbie Macomber

i read leech by hiron ennes this year and it was a great gothic wintery setting

Bookwise: try urban fiction. (But I think this might be too gritty for me.)
Otherwise: take more walks.
