Hot chocolate – it's like a warm hug in a mug and it's very nostalgic for me.

As with every month, I try to look at it as a fresh start and determine what I would like my month to look like. Also, for December specifically, I really dive into Christmas mode.

I really enjoy making a cup of hot cocoa, putting on a cozy ambience video, and annotating in my book as I read. If it's at night I love to get cozy in bed and burrow under the blankets with a good book.

Either Bookshops & Bonedust or Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree. There are a whole lot of heartwarming and charming moments in them.
A book that feels like a warm blanket on a cold day:I have a couple that I could list here – The Hobbit, or There and Back Again, Greenglass House, and Legends & Lattes.

If I could gift one book to everyone this season, it would be 84, Charing Cross Road. Regardless of what genre of books you enjoy, this one is such an impactful read among all book lovers. It is such a short read but it is such a gem for anyone who loves books.

Some of my winter reading traditions:I typically enjoy a cup of hot cocoa in the winter when I read.
I always like to re-read Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.
I also love reading wintry fantasy books.

During the winter I feel like I read more, but during the actual holiday season I feel like I read less. I watch Christmas movies and spend more time with family during the holiday season.

My current read, which I'm almost finished with, is Home for Christmas. I think mine is pretty easy. The Christmas song that would fit best with my current read is I'll Be Home for Christmas.

I've set a few goals for this year. I didn't hit my goal of 100 books last year, so I'm going to try again this year.
