Cem Bilici (cembilici) Hi all.

I don't see it bandied around a lot, and certainly no posts featuring it that I could find in searching, but who uses LinkedIn and how do you find it?

When I do see people mention it, they always say that it is one of the most important of the social media sites for self-pubbers because of the professional contacts they can make the likes of editors, publishers, etc.

I've never used it or perused it to be honest, but now that I have a little money and finished the fourth draft of my novel, it's time to start shopping around so I can get the damn thing out there and move on to the next one :D

I don't have a huge budget and started with the old El Google for suggestions on finding a good editor, but many of the links that popped up suggest LinkedIn as a place to look, and it got me thinking about it in general.

Is it worth creating a profile there for an indie? I'm not the most prolific when it comes to the social media profiles-and my blog-that I do have, so should I consider adding another?

What say you, and what experiences have you had with LinkedIn as a writer?
