1.'O' is October: Read a book that starts with 'O' or a book whose author's first or last name starts with 'O'.
2. Member of the Month - Hina: Hina has been a member of the RRRC since June 2010. Here is the link to Hina's shelves Please read a book from any of Hina's shelves or a book published in 2010 or June of any year.

So you may also read a book set in Chicago or Illinois, or by an author who is from Chicago or Illinois. You can also read any book published in 1983, or is shelved as Contemporary Romance or a book by any author who has been inducted in the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame or a book with a sporting romance bias.
4. World Smile Day (1st Friday of the month): Read a book whose title, cover or blurb leaves a smile on your face.
5. Poetry Day (2nd October): Read a book of poetry or a book written in the style of poetry. Or Read a book with a romantic cover or has a MC that is trying to 'court' or 'woo' someone.
6. Cat Day (29th October): Read a book with a cat on the cover or in the story (all types of cats acceptable). Or read a book with the word 'cat' found in the title/subtitle/series/author name. i.e. 'Catch Me If You Can'.
7. Sourest Day (25th October): Read a book that has been banned, or a book with a character that has a cranky disposition, or needs an attitude adjustment.
8. It's My Party Day (11th October): Read a book that's fun in some way.
9. World Pasta Day (25th October): Read a book by an Italian author, or a book with an Italian setting or an Italian character. Or read a book with a cover that has either red, white or green on it (the colors of the Italian flag) or a book with a chef.
10. Reader's Choice: Read any book of your choice.
Challenge Duration: October 1st to October 31st, 2014
You can choose 3, 5, 8 or all 10 categories depending on your reading speed, book availability and/or time commitment.
When posting your challenge progress, please make sure to put the date/s when you finished your book/s. Please repost your progress as it helps when updating.
