Niki | 9 comments So I really love triangles. Jealous guys, torn girl, steamy kisses, all tossed up with a bunch of ghosts/magic/whathaveyou like an angsty but funny salad. The problem is, there is always NO question that our young hero will end up with the first guy she kisses in the book. That's irritating. Why can't she switch it up a little?
That's what I'm looking for, basically. I want to find a book where maybe, just maybe, she ends up with the second guy (who usually is less broody and better for her anyway). Has anyone read anything like that? I would love to hear from you.
Or, if you don't have any suggestions, perhaps just a couple of your favorites in general.
Thank you!

hmmm. I dunno if this qualifies at all, but the fifth wave is kiiinndddd of like that ish :) haha, none of the guys are brooding though. And the book isn't paranormal *shrugs* It was the first, and kind of only, thing that came to mind. so yeaahhhh

Niki | 9 comments I don't necessarily LIKE broody guys. They just always seem to be there haha. Thank you!

Rox | 69 comments I think there is a love triangle (more like pentagon) in Riley Jenson Guardian series . The first book is Full Moon Rising Full Moon Rising (Riley Jenson Guardian #1) by Keri Arthur

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) | 538 comments Beg for Mercy (Cambion, #1) by Shannon Dermott has like a 'love hexagon'...

I really enjoy it, and want at least 3 of the boys in my personal fictional harem.

Danielle The Stray Stray (Shifters, #1) by Rachel Vincent series has a love triangle. I read it a while back. Can't remember who she kissed first.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) | 407 comments The best love triangle that actually resolves in a most creative way is the one in Cassandra Clare's Infernal Devices. The epilogue of the last book is unforgettable.

Also not PN, but Georgette Heyer's bookThese Old Shades sort of has this. But then, again, I like the "bad boys" in romance books. I wouldn't have one if you paid me in rl, but in a book, where I know that I don't have to put up with him, they are great.

Salome | 35 comments Infernal devices is probably the best love triangle in modern literature. I thought Hunger Games had guy #2 getting the girl, though the love story is not as prominent in the plot as most other books.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) | 407 comments Yes, I agree. Infernal Devices was fantastic. I still get a tear in my eye just thinking about that epilogue.

Jennifer McDonald (JenMcDonald) | 6 comments Rachel Vincent's Soul Screamers series has a love triangle between brothers but the 2nd doesn't really come into romantic play until a couple of books in. It's the only series I can think of where the MC changes her mind and doesn't end up with guy #1.

Lokki (lokki8) | 18 comments Have you tried the Secret McQueen series by Sierra Dean? First book is Something Secret This Way Comes (Secret McQueen, #1) by Sierra Dean . Although I haven't finished the series yet (I have a couple books left), I'm sure she doesn't end up with guy number one.
