"I've only had a couple," Val exclaimed indignantly.

Val tried to steal another of her friend's chips.
Amber chucked the rest of the chips into her mouth. "Oo kan ged dem now!" she said, her mouth full.
Val reached behind herself to pick up a bag of chips.
"Alright, you?" Val asked unnecessarily.
Val laughed, blushing slightly.
"Uh, no clue. Sounded like a 'creepy' spot," Val said, shrugging.
"It's lovely, don't you think?" Val asked, grinning.
"Yes. It would make for an amazing date. The smell of blood in the air does wonders for the romantic atmosphere," Amber agreed.
"Definitely." Val's grin grew a little wider and her face a little pinker.
Amber looked down to the half-chip that had fallen. "It looks like some sort of valiant soldier-chip who died heroically in battle, don't you think?"
Val giggled. "Sure thing!" She rolled her eyes and then crushed the chip with her finger.
"In our stomachs," Val said, falling backwards in an attempt to be dramatic. She laughed, her hair getting in a fresh pool of blood.
"You are a despicable human being," Amber replied stiffly.
((Do you like pop punk, or just really depressing songs in general?))

((Uh, some hard rock, classic rock, and then film score and sort of film score music. You?))
"You ate more chips than I did," Val pointed out, her voice a bit more sarcastic than usual. She hadn't noticed what her hair had gotten into.

((I like punk-y stuff. Punk rock, punk pop, pop punk, punk, etc. I was just wondering because of my recent obsession with this one song in particular that everyone around me refuses to listen to.))
"At least my hair isn't bloody," Amber smirked.
"At least my hair isn't bloody," Amber smirked.
((Cool. What song? And yes, I am offering to listen to it))
"What?" Val exclaimed in alarm, accidentally sending the blood from her spiky hair down onto her face. She shrieked.

((Amber Lynn, by Mayday Parade. Here's a link, if you'd like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GB_tF...
))
Amber fell over laughing, getting part of her hair bloody, too. "Val! It's all your fault!"

"You made me do it!" Val argued.
((Just listened to it. It's definitely different from what I listen to it, but it was pretty alright.))
"Alright," Val laughed, offering her hand up for a high-five.
"Alright," Val laughed, offering her hand up for a high-five.
((I'm extremely obsessed with the band that sings that song, though their music usually isn't that acoustic-y. If you doubt my obsession, feel free to ask Caroline or Lily. They'll tell you. It's intense.))
Amber thought for a moment, then high-fived Val.

((Oh? Okay then. I believe you. My favorite group is Epic North. My favorite song by them is Interceptor (and just about every song of theirs, but Interceptor's main theme/melody is awesome) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrCSB... ))
Val grinned, subconsciously scooting closer to Amber.

Val shook her head. "We could go elsewhere if you want."
Amber shrugged. "I dunno. This place is beginning to grow on me, though that may just be the millions of bacteria that are probably in this blood."
Val laughed. "Definitely quiet and still when empty. And creepy. I like it."
"Because you know me?" Val suggested with a smirk. Her eyes shone.
"Probably," she agreed, rolling her eyes.
"Thanks," Val said, her voice halfway between sarcastic and amused.
Val giggled. "Want to play a game?"
"What game?" she queried, thinking up suggestions.
"Sure," Val agreed. "Who goes first?"
