Lia gave Cia a nod. "Yep, ready as I'll ever be." She said before Cia gave her announcement to the fake citizens. She jogged in behind them, noticing what Cia took. Matches, tarp, rope, tablet, sleeping bag.. That was what the girl had taken. But when Lia went in, she grabbed one more sleeping bag, an electric lamb, flashlight (the gases and bulbs in these would be useful), a small backpack to carry everything in, and a few pegs that could be used to keep the tarp to the ground if needed.

Calix tried to swallow, but his mouth and throat were too dry. He couldn't even feel any saliva. He ran for the nearest building, hoping he could cool down inside.
The room seemed to be a type of grocery store, and it was filled with food and water. Calix' mouth lifted into a relieved smile. The shop was still hot, but not as hot as outside. He slumped against a wall and opened his backpack, hoping he had some water inside. He knew, after years of training, that the water and food could be poisonous and he couldn't trust it. But all he found in his bag were two packets of dried fruit, a small knife, a sleeping bag and a coil of rope. No water. Not even the fruit had any moisture. He groaned and threw the bag back onto his shoulders, eyeing the water hopefully.
((the grocery stores are gauntlets aren't they?))

Ash dropped to his knees, the Cornucopia just metres away. They could do it. If he crawled.. But the weather was too hot, he wasn't entirely sure that he'd be able to make it. But he had to. He had to survive. Sweat dripped onto the steps, making his hands slip. Ash crawled to the Cornucopia and breathed out when he got there. However, someone else was already inside.
((And Mel, finally, some action will happen!))

Yeah.
Yeah.

Ash would bother with the tribute later, once he had got his weapon. There it was. The perfect bow, with its quiver of 12 silver arrows, perfectly straight, perfect form.. Thin enough to not make a noise is it flew through the air, the arrows would make a deadly weapon. He then crawled over to the backpack, to which contained the same items as Linadel's: one meter of rope, two packets of dried fruit, one small knife and a sleeping bag. Ash also quickly snatched a purification bottle, stuffing that in the backpack, along with a water bottle. ((Are they full?)) There might be more items, but he didn't pay attention. Ash slung the backpack over his shoulder and in one swift movement notched the arrow into the bow and aimed it at the girl in the room, his whole figure still but relaxed.
((Oh... Well I guess I'll go for the group of Cia and them...))
Cia was all smiles. Her plan had worked, and they had made it out with plenty of supplies. Plus, she had a tablet. That was her weapon. Instead of using knives or swords, Cia was one with machines, wires and bolts. She motioned to the group to set their stuff down in a pile so they could look over what they had, but for now she was busy setting up some things on her device. She needed specific settings and programs that wouldn't take long to load... Just a minute or two. She tapped the screen impatiently as the progress continued.

((How many more posts will it take to cover the 'idea'- or was that it?))
Mihr looked straight at the bow with a slight smirk on her face. He hadn't seen her weapons yet, but she knew that bow and arrows against throwing knives could be a waste, so she picked up a spear as well. That- this was the good thing about fights in the Cornucopia; you usually had an abundance of supplies you could just pick up and hurl. She had the spear in the proper grasp in a swift movement and was shifting it from hand to hand, completely relaxed. She was in fact biting back a laugh. "That's all you have..?" She said to the boy. Arrows were so predictable, you just had to move to the side quickly enough once it had been released from the bow and you were alive.

"What are you doing?" Lia asked Cia, looking over her shoulder. What was going on on the tablet screen made no sense, because of course in Twelve people had never even heard of tablets. She had only found out about them after arriving in the Capitol.
"Trying to get these programs to load," Cia said, not giving anything away. The programs were almost done downloading, about eighty-nine percent complete. She kept tapping the screen as if it would make the tablet work faster, even though it did nothing.

Ash grunted as Linadel took an arrow out of his quiver. Ten left. He nodded at the arrow then mouthed, 'don't do anything' to her quickly, knowing she would be able to understand. He turned back to the girl in front of him. Yes, that was all he had, weapons-wise.. "No. Unlike you I don't necessarily show all my weapons at once, and sort of act like I am superior to someone else. We are all tributes in here, we are all going to die at some point; those who die in the Games just have a faster death," Ash replied smoothly, not stuttering once. He kept the girl's gaze.
((@Chloe))
Lia nodded although she didn't really understand. This technology she had seen could be very confusing, although Cia knew it like the back of her hand, clearly. But she wanted to know a bit more. Say she ever had to use the tablet. "Um, what type of programs if you don't mind me asking.."

((Okay, sure. How about her right wrist? And could she stab him somewhere not major?))
She started laughing. She just couldn't hold it back. He sounded like a monk. Seriously. "God, what are you a monk, lecturing me about dying and being respectful?" She stopped laughing after saying that. Everyone watching thought she was probably insane, laughing in the middle of a battle to the death. But then and again, the Capitol people were probably laughing as well right now considering they laughed at the weirdest things.

((Yeah?))
"They're going to let me," Cia said, pausing to debate whether or not to tell Lia. She might as well. She dropped her voice lower, low enough so that the cameras couldn't hear it. "Hack into the Capitol's system, and hopefully I'll be able to make some things go our way. That is, if the damn programs will download..." She tapped the screen even faster before she finally just sighed and looked back at Lia.

"Ohhhhhhh..." Lia said. It made a lot of sense now. "I guess that's the type of stuff you learn in Three right, hacking and that jazz?" She made sure to keep her voice low so that the cameras couldn't pick it up.
((I just meant that the post was meant for you because some others got in the way and I have to RP two tributes so it gets confusing so..))

"Up that alley yeah," Cia said, setting the tablet down as the program's finalized. "So what do we have here?" She rubbed her hands together arms pointed to the stack they had recovered from
the store.
the store.

Ash let go of the bow's string with his fingers and watched as the arrow pierced the girl's wrist. He blinked, no sign of happiness or annoyance on his face. He was quite good at keeping back his emotions. "Monks don't believe in hurting people." Ash stated, not sure if it was a true fact or not but it sounded quite believable. Now, to plan a way out..
((Coolio))
At first there was no pain. But then there was a sudden jolt in her entire arm and she looked at her wrist. At the arrow, then back at the boy. "Not a bad shot." She muttered under her breath as she removed the arrow from her wrist. It luckily hadn't hit any main arteries or vessels, but blood still leaked from the would. She tore a small piece of fabric from the bottom of the inside of the tank top to stop most of the blood flow. Luckily, the arrow had pierced her right wrist, which was her bad hand. Using all of her force with her left side, she took her spear and gave it a good hurl towards the boy. The spear had been a bit clunky anyways, so it wasn't a bad thing to have already used it.

((Make Lolita run off with the supplies and maybe Cia or Lia or Charlie could notice or something..))

((^^WHOOPS I DIDN'T DO THE PARENTHESES... I'll edit that. And now that I think about it, I might have Cia either try to kill Charlie or take off too... Of course I wouldn't kill Charlie without Breezy's permission.))
((That actually kind of sounds like a good idea, I have to kill Lia off anyways, I just need to figure out a way to fill in where she should kill her kill off before I kill her off))

Ash bit his tongue as the spear entered his leg. His outfit was quite thick in width so he thought he would be okay, but maybe not. A sharp grunt escaped his mouth as he pulled the weapon out slowly. I should have got her left hand, but how was I meant to know.. Ash thought to himself, pressing on the wound with his left hand, his bow now slung over his back. "Geez," He muttered, throwing the spear to the floor. He had slightly bent the blade with his hand so it wasn't very useable now. "Right. I hate to admit it, but you're good. So if you wouldn't mind not killing me on the way down the stairs I would be very grateful." Ash said through gritted teeth, his eyes on the girl in front of him, still not knowing her name.

Artemis stood on her plate for a while, not realizing that the Games had begun. She was a bit late for no-one was around. "Oh dear," She muttered, running into the group of girls that looked most friendly. She remembered one of them - Cia. "Where.. where are we?" Artemis asked quickly, ready to punch any of them in the face if they decided to not help her.
((I don't know Mel, I think they might be going to the medicine store..))
Mihr brushed his compliment by with scarcely a thought. But she could however use the comment to her advantage. "If you say I'm good then you should know that I won't hesitate to do that again so I have to refuse the request of not killing you." With that she took a few strides closer, so that she was just a foot or so away from the boy.

Ash heard the threat but noted it wasn't a very sincere one. "Is that so? Then you should also know that I won't hesitate to damage your weapons." He said, picking up the bent spear that the girl near him didn't seem to have noticed. He was going to say something else but decided not to, as she might stab him again. He just glared at her.
She laughed slightly, a cold sharp laugh that could scare a GameMaker. "I can fix them. The bent spear-" She actually had noticed.. "I'll just bend the blade back straight. It's simple actually.." She saw another spear behind her, picked it up, bent it, and fixed it herself. It would be weaker, no doubt about that, but it could still make do.

Riva looked up from her knot as Sage spoke. That seemed like a good plan. Better than waiting here for everyone to wake up anyway. Being stuck in this building in this heat was potentially maddening. And they needed medicine maybe as much as they needed water. "I'll come," she told Sage. Do you think it will have tracker-jackers, like the other one?"

As Riva and Sage were strategizing, a silver parachute floated down outside the door, emitting small, melodic dings during it's slow, graceful descent. It landed on the ground, continuing to ding. The number two was visible on the small box that the parachute had carried. When opened, the box would contain three small, yet deadly knives that were obviously engineered to be thrown (if one were to recognize such things).

((I missed this sorry XD))
Cia's tablet had finished downloading the programs she had wanted. She smiled at that, but her smile vanished as she spotted yet another female tribute approaching them. "Go. Away," she snarled, setting her tablet down and picking up a flashlight. She could hit the girl with the flashlight if she decided to start something.
