He didn't know how to go farther, but he wanted to. He smiled and just kissed her.

He did the same, arms still around her waist and eyes widened slightly.

Light blinked quickly and looked down, but then his face drifted back up to hers. He couldn't stop smiling. "Whoa...." Was all he could say.

He just smiled at her, not sure what he should say. "Does this mean...." He wondering if this counted as going out with someone.

He just smiled at her. "Whoa..." It had seemed like everything had happened so fast, but he liked it.

((XD whoa... Okay. Hm... You can pick?))

He'd smiled at her, forgetting that originally this had started with them skipping school.

((XD you're telling me.... O.O))

He smiled and laid next to her, wanting to put his arm around her but not sure how. He'd seen it in a few movies, so he yawned.

((Doesn't matter to me. XD ))

He smiled at her for a moment, but his arm was already in the air.... And he quickly put it back down.

((XD he's just gonna smile for now....))

((XD sure. I guess. XD this is so weird... I read shotgun and thought she died. XD ))

He'd smiled and waved, but then was left alone again. As usual. Watching the sun go down and the sky turn a darker blue.

((XD I know what it is! I live in America! XD it just took a second....))

He wondered who it was, so he nonchalantly picked it up.

Light frowned for moment, jumpimg up and hoping for the worst.... He sighed for a moment. "Yes. This it Light Yagami. "

He'd only known her for a few days.... "It's she okay? Where is she? I need to see her...." He said quickly, saying the last part quietly, trying to stay calm.

Light smiled slightly, but it's be a few weeks. The hospital wasn't far from there. He picked up his bag and set of toward her at a run, hanging up the phone. "Ill... Be there in a minute." He said, he'd visit Emmy every day... No matter what.

Light was there soon after, sweating slightly. He'd wondered where Emmy's room was. But he didn't know her last name and the teller would tell. Go figure. So he set off exploring. The map said that the coma patients were on the third floor...

Light was clueless, but guessed that that was Emmy's mother. He quickly walked over. He needed to see if she was okay.

He'd smirked. "What gave it away?" Yup. She'd sounded like Emmy's mother.

He's nodded slightly, not so worried now. But then he saw Emmy. Strapped up to a bunch of wires and tubes, the smile fading from his face. But she would be okay, she had to.

He'd smiled slightly, at least she was okay. He was absent mindedly holding her hand, gently brushing the back of it with his thumb. He had sat in a chair next to the bed.

He smiled up at the girl. "I know." He nodded slightly, turning his attention back to Emmy.

Light just smiled at her and held her hand, brushing hair out of her face.

He just smiled and shook his head , wanting to stay here the night. "Home is where the heart is right?" He laid his chin on the bed to look up at Emmy.

He nodded again. Light wanted to be there when Emmy woke up, how happy she'd be.

He looked up at the nurse, still holding hands with Emmy. "Oh hey."

He shook his head. But he wouldn't loose faith. "No."

He smiled. "I'm Light... Yagami." He didn't exactly have a title like nurse or something rather.

He nodded. "Abby is too." He pointed out. He didn't move from where he was, next to Emmy.

Light nodded. "As of today...." He said, gently squeezing Emmys hand.

Light just rubbed Emmy's hand and smiled. ""She's awesome...."

Light wondered, it was just a crash right? "H-how bad was it?" He asked, needing to know. But he would never leave her side... Except for school.... And the bathroom.

Light looked down at their hands, trying not to cry. But he kept his cool, clutching Emmys hand. "Without her I would've suicided by now.... She's given me purpose. The least I could do for her is give her a hand to hold." He said, then wiped a tear from his eyes and kissed her hand.

He nodded. "I won't."

He nodded again. "I know...." He'd wondered what time it was, but he wasn't going to sleep.

He shook his head. "No.... It's fine." He insisted, wanting to stay with Emmy.

He knew he probably wouldn't. He waited till Abby was gone. "You know what Emmy? I love you. And I know you're in a coma and probably can't hear me, but I'll wait for you to wake up. No matter what." He smiled slightly, remembering the beginning of today. Light gently held her hand.

He laid his head on the bed. Drifting to sleep with her hand in his hair.

He smiled and kissed her cheek, then slept next to her. "I love you. And good night."

Light hadn't been a able to sleep well, waking up every half and hour. He smiled at Emmy, she looked somewhat better. "Hey." He said, not caring if he wasn't going to get a reply.

He smiled and gently rubbed her arm. "Almost time for school...." Though at this point he really didn't want to go, he'd have to be away from Emmy almost all day.

Light nodded. "I still have a bit left." He said, not wanting to leave yet.

Light nodded and kissed Emmy's cheek. "I'll see you later.... Try not to miss me too much." He joked, but he knew that his life would be truly torture without her. He gently rubbed her arm one last time before standing and throwing on a jacket.

He shook his head. "Nah... It's fine. Just make sure Emmy is okay. And call me if anything changes." He said hopefully, leaving.

Light ran back toward the hospital, oblivious. He'd gotten in a fight today with the same guy who was messing with Emmy the first time. Light'd won.... But he'd rather not have fought. It was just because the guy had made a few rude remarks about Emmy. Oh well. They'd both gotten suspended for a few days. There was a spot where you could see a little blood, clear that it was a punch.

Light checked how he looked in the glass windows of the hospital before he walked inside, wiping the rest of the blood. And ten he walked toward Emmys room.

Light smiled slightly as he saw Abby, looked like they were headed in the same direction. He ran over. "Abby!" He called, eager to here if there was any news.

He smiled and nodded. "How's Emmy?"

He walked into the room, sitting next to Emmy as usual. "Anything new?"

He frowned for a moment, then smiled at Emmy. "Alright... I just have to be patient." Light said hopefully.
