Light smiled and nodded, rubbing Emmys arm again. "Well... How's your day been, Abby?" He asked, not wanting to be in an awkward silence.

He nodded slightly. "Cool." Hm... He wasn't exactly good with small talk.
He bit his lip slightly... Should he tell her? Eh. Didn't matter. "I got.... Suspended." Light said in complete bluntness.
He shrugged. "Just a fight."
Light hadn't noticed that time. He was looking down. "It was with that guy.... The one who was messing with Emmy a few days ago." He explained, even though Abby hadn't asked.
He nodded. "Yeah... He was insulting you and then I kinda just threw a punch." He said, oblivious that she was awake. It took him a second. Then his eyes jumped up and he smiled widely. "EMMY!"
Light smiled, trying to keep in his happiness. "And just when I was going to try that thing from sleeping beauty...." It was that movie, right? He just smiled at her, she was okay.
Light smiled at her. "I think we can skip that part." He joked slightly. Emmy was back.... Awesome.

He'd just smiled, not knowing what to say. Then a thought came to him, Emmys parents.
Light smiled at her. "You alright?" He asked, worried for a moment.
He shrugged. "Just wondering.... You've kinda been out of it for a few days." He smiled, sitting in a chair by her bed.
Light kissed her cheek. "But you're up now." The rest didn't really matter anymore.
He hadn't really wondered people exactly did with their girlfriends.... Hm... "Hey Emmy?"
"When this whole thing blows over... You wanna go to the movies?" That seemed fun... Sorta. He said, smiling at her a little.
He followed her gaze, wondering what to do next.
Light smiled widely. "Hi Emmys mom." He laughed slightly.
He smiled still, happy for them but felt weird at the same time. Her mother really cared for her.... A lot.

He nodded. "Hm... Can I stay here again?" He asked, sleeping in was better than what he usually did..... Especially when Emmy was involved.
Light turned to look at the door as they left, making sure the door was closed. Then he smiled at Emmy. "I don't have to stay if you don't want me too."
He widened his eyes for a moment then smiled. "Oh... Okay." He said, slouching his shoulders slightly.
His eyebrow furrowed for a moment, then it didn't, then he smiled at her. Light tilted his head at her for a moment. "Do you want to share the bed?"
He kissed her cheek gently. "If you want me to."
He smiled and carefully laid next to her, making sure not to mess with any of the wires or tubes.
He yawned again, maybe it'd work this time...
He smiled at her. She looked so peaceful again. "Good night..."
He was worried for a moment, but she was just asleep. So he soon did the same, forgetting about the rest of that day.
((Yeah, sure. Next morning I guess.))Light awoke pretty early, it was still dark outside and some stars were still out. He smiled slightly at Emmy.

He sighed happily. "This is how life should be.... So far it's been cool, girl of my dreams and a roof over our heads... Except let's not do this in a hospital next time, it smells like cleaner and medicine." Light thought aloud.
Once again, he didn't notice, too busy lost in his own ramblings. "It's weird..." He said, smiling. "I think I love her."
He smiled as talked. "She's not like other girls.... You can tell that just by the way she smiles. She's beautiful... And smart. And I love her hair." He laughed slightly.
He thought he heard something for a moment, then turned toward Emmy. What if she was awake? Nah, her eyes were still closed. He smiled at her. "And she was my first kiss...." He mumbled.
Light just smiled at her, gently brushing some hair out of her face with his fingers.
He quickly moved his hand away, then looked down. "Oh... Sorry if I woke you up." He muttered.
He smiled at her. "Oh... Okay." Then wondered. "Hm... How long were you up?"
Light gave a sigh of relief. "Awesome." He smiled at Emmy, laying down with her again.
He smiled at her and tried to resist the urge to wrinkle his nose.
Light just smiled and wondered what his crazy girlfriend was doing, but let her do it anyway.
He laughed. "Then expect a mustache by tonight...." He smiled at her. "Because you do sleep a lot."
He smiled at her still. "You going to school today?"
He nodded. "Cool."
He kissed her cheek. "Don't worry , I'll be with you all the way." He smiled, they weren't alone anymore...
He smiled at her. "What's wrong?"
He bit his lip slightly and moved away from her, thinking whatever it was, it was his fault.
Light smiled slightly at Abby. "Hey."
He shook his head. "Same."
((XD monsters.))Light smiled slightly, standing up, his muscles sore. Wondering how Emmy's felt.

Light nodded, smiling at her. "Alright. I'll be here, just call if you need anything."
Light stood up by the bed, still smiling at her. She looked better... Chill. "Nice."
Light laughed and raised an eyebrow. "Are you saying I look bad?" He joked, knowing that's not what she meant. But it was fun teasing her.
