Laura (ljroach) | 5 comments I've just started The Last by Hanna Jameson, and if you're into dystopian end-of-world type fiction then I highly recommend it. I'm not that far in but totally hooked.

2) Fiction I am currently reading
3) Nonfiction political/resistance book
4) Nonfiction science/math book

Tonstant Weader (tonstant_weader) | 7 comments I just finished Ohio by Stephen Markley Ohio and think it might be on my lifetime list of best books. I can't imagine the luck of reading a better book this year. It's coming Aug 21st, so there's probably still time to request it from NetGalley.

Compelling true-crime. If it weren't so well-documented, it would be hard to believe.

Bianca Smith (biancajsmith) I'm reading The House of One Thousand Eyes. It's amazing and very relevant. While it's set in Germany in the 80s (so still divided), there are so many parts relevant to the US now, unfortunately. It's excellently written and a "read now" option.

I have had this for a while, started twice, but keep getting sidetracked. In fact, I was reading it the other day when I was notified that I was approved for the ARC of Bright Ruin (Dark Gifts #3) by Vic James and put Ohio aside again.
