Hi everyone, sorry for dissapearing/being a horrible teammate last month. Real life just hit me in the face and I had to keep everything going somehow, which made me not open Goodreads at all. Sorry but I'll try to come back a bit now since I do love this group. Can I go Solo?

Can we use page points for this challenge?
Books started before October can be used for page points +/- buddy read points, but you will not be able to claim any bonus points.

Quick Question: I'm currently reading 3 Days by Krista Madden. Can I use thr from three even if it's a number in the title?
Hey, I know re-reads don't count if we read it recently, but I'm rereading a book for school. I'm close reading and annotating every line- not skimming anything because I'll have a test on it later. Since I'm really reading through the whole thing, can I count it?

You could, but none of the taglines actually have 'thr' in them, so I'm slightly confused.

Sarah, is the "I" in I want to believe treated like a letter or like a word - for example, I'm reading a book called Illusion. If I use the letter "I" to fulfill the I in "I want to believe", can I also claim/use other letters in the title and/or author's name or am I done because the I is treated like a word?Thanks!

That would give you 5 letters :) Not sure who the author is, so I'm not sure about those letters :)

I'm sorry but if it's only been 2 months we wouldn't be able to count it again. The shortest time we've ever counted is 8 months, so I'm afraid 2 months is just too soon. Sorry x

Hi Jennifer, it doesn't really matter because if you claim a word with 3 letters you can still claim another group of 2 letters or 2 single letters to get you up to the 5 letters. It's 5 letters rather than 1 word (the only exception being 'believe' where you can claim the whole word, but still only get 10 points).
Illusion is a bit of a tricky one, with there only being one word in the title, but as long as you're only using the I once, it should be fine. So you could claim the 'us' and 'on' like Katie suggested, or maybe the S from the author's name? Up to you ☺
