I've been hearing some news about a possible reboot for the Percy Jackson series, which will be a TV series this time. No news yet on which network will pick this up but it is highly rumored to be Disney. Given the subpar movie adaptation of the first two books, I have high hopes for this reboot.

Sadly, he died in an accidental fall in 2002.
I have not started reading this yet, it will be late in the month, I think.
Okay, I'm reading it. I know I'm a little down on this series in general, but this made me laugh, in chapter 5: (view spoiler)
This was alright, probably the best of the series to date. I particularly enjoyed the flashbacks that revealed Daedalus' past. Of course Percy has to have girl trouble and not even know it or understand what is going on; required for this type of book. I have the final book ready to go. I will be on a mini-vacation in mid-November with plenty of reading time and this is one of the titles that I am bringing for a possible pool-side read.

I finished over the weekend and I think this one was my favorite.I’ll be sad when we read book 5 and I’ll be done with Percy! I can definitely see why this series is beloved. At my age, I found them to be the perfect “unwind” books. Percy and Grover made me chuckle.
I owned books 1-4 but I don’t own #5 so hopefully it’ll be available from the library soon.

Aren't there a bunch more books with Percy? He shows up somewhere in the Heroes of Olympus series anyway per the book blurbs.
