What do I do when the names of publisher conflict?
For example for this book the publisher for this book is, MacMillan Publishing Company

This is similar to Amazon,
http://www.amazon.com/Father-Melancho...

However, WorldCat states that the publisher is Thorndike Press
http://www.worldcat.org/title/father-...

What should I do in this case?

Amazon also says "Thorndike Press Large Print Americana Series". Google search indicates the two companies are related. If that helps. :-)

Ohh, so since those two companies are related I should just leave it as it is?

Probably? I am no expert though.

We go with the lowest level I.e. The imprint which would be Thorndike Press, it looks like the company has been bought and sold a number of times to different bigger publishing houses
