Since I am listening to the audio and I have today off, I will start today and listen to a big chuck but come Tuesday I will slow down and I am sure you will catch me quickly!!

Sorry I haven't posted sooner. At the beginning of Chapter 9.

So far I am loving it!!

The reader of the audio book is great, which always helps. I love how the book started with the quest and then slowly described the world.

School(view spoiler)[ virtual school seems a little weird. I love how there are still bullies and the attempts the program goes to in order to make sure kids pay attention. I worry though that people are going to have troubles with lack of real physical exercise but the book hasn't addressed this. (hide spoiler)]

Stacks and real world(view spoiler)[ I love how THIS COVER illustrates the stacks for us. I can totally picture this future so far. (hide spoiler)]

I think my love of video games is endearing this book to me.

Forcing myself to stop and come on here to comment. I am loving it. I don't think I have enjoyed a book this much in a long time.

IOI and Sixors(view spoiler)[Holy bad guys batman!!! These guys are seriously evil!!! I loved Wade's proposal to them. I didn't think he had the guts to turn them down and I was shocked when they actually blew up the stack. I love how bad they are with the cheating and blocking others from accessing the site of the tomb. (hide spoiler)]

High Five(view spoiler)[ I love that Wade warned everyone. His actions keep surprising me. He has so many commendable characteristics. I also really enjoyed H offering to help Wade with money in the real world and taking the time to be a good friend despite them competing against each other for the egg. (hide spoiler)]

I need to reach the end of this quest. it kills me every time I have to stop listening.

Okay so I am at the part where Wade reaches the second Gate (you knew it would happen so I am not spoiling anything!!), am in the middle of a chapter, he just inserted the key.

H (view spoiler)[ wow, talk about going above and beyond. He led Wade right to that Key. Not really fair as Wade used no brains to find the second key but H actually did a lot of thinking to find the first. He just used what he knew to determine possible locations instead of having someone give him a step by step guide. I hope they make up. Wade should apologize for being a jackass. (hide spoiler)]

Art3mis(view spoiler)[ haven't seen much of her. The romance is really lacking in this. it really just seems to be Wade pining. Not sure I like her as a love interest. (hide spoiler)]

Dioto and Shoto(view spoiler)[ OMFG how evil can IOI get. They killed Dioto???? Love how they weren't actually brothers and had never met. I always assumed Dioto was the younger one, not Shoto. To be honest, I thought Shoto was working with IOI and that Wade was walking into a trap when he met with Shoto. Glad to see he wasn't. (hide spoiler)]

Pac-man(view spoiler)[ this will totally be part of the crystal key of third gate quest and Wade will turn out to be ahead. I am glad he seems to be using his own brains to find the second gate. (hide spoiler)]

Wow, so much has happened!!!

H(view spoiler)[ I was pretty shocked to find out she (SHE!!) is a girl. I was also not expecting her sexual orientation. I wisd Wade had met Art3mis and SHoto before the battle. (hide spoiler)]

Indentured(view spoiler)[ wow! That move was brave and ballsy. Certainly makes up for the moping and lack of thinking on Wade's part earning the jade key.

It's crazy that it is legal for IOI to make people into slaves. I would be interested in hearing more about how IOI got into a position with so much power. Did I miss this? (hide spoiler)]

Og(view spoiler)[ I knew he was great and powerful after that move at his party. I wonder why he doesn't help with the biog battle though. I get that he did provide help by offering the MC's sanctuary but it would be nice to see him do more. (hide spoiler)]

I finally finished. I was happy with the ending but wish we got a bit more. (view spoiler)[ everything is the real world was summed up pretty quickly. (hide spoiler)]

But regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed this read.

I highly recommend the audiobook version.

Damn it, why are there so many terrible series. I wish there were more to this world. Another adventure in the OASIS would have been nice.
