I am reading
and which is #4 out of 5 in a series. Short books, but a great story so far.

Finally picked up the series again.. not sure why I stopped in the middle of the series (probably just had too many to read!) But I'm reading the fourth book of Kate's bibliophile series. Love them.

I am reading way more books than I am comfortable with! I usually only have 2 maybe 3 going. Right now I have 6!

I finally finished ! Don't get me wrong it is a good book, but I feel like I was reading it for months! I am about to finish . I will then be starting and

I finally got in this AM!! So I will be starting that.
I am also going to read and a little for good measure.

I understand what you mean Lucy, I get like that too sometimes and I'm just not in the mood.

I don't know if it's really a slump, or if I just wanted a quick break, but I'm TRYING to get through a couple books and just having such a hard time motivated to read:

Working my way through The Giver quartet. Not particularly enjoyable in the middle here.

Kind of all over the map as far a genres go but I'm enjoying all of these so far. Especially A Stolen Life. It's a compelling but haunting memoir by Jaycee Dugard about her experience in captivity.

I've never read the other two, but All the Light We Cannot See is amazing.

Just finished A Monster Calls

I've been reading: and because I know we're reading the next one soon and could not for the life of me remember anything but Mara's name.

I'll be starting and any day so I better get reading!

You'll have to let me know how Death Marked is - I tried reading the first of that series last year but I just could not get into it.

The first was hard for me to get into too, in fact I stopped reading it all together and then came back to it later. I'm glad I did though, it got better, good even! I'm enjoying the second as well, this series is easy for me to picture as I read which makes reading it a bit more fun for me.

"The Tea Rose" by Jennifer Donnelly.

since it doesn't look good for the premonition series on the poll I started reading it on my own.

Ok, so I have read the first couple books in Premonition. I noticed that there are a lot of similarities to Twilight but only book 1. It branches off and twists out of it. And I think it is a better story. I am almost done with . The problem I have with these book, I crave Twinkies!

I read , pretty good, makes me want a cupcake.

Thank you for the advice on Premonition as I am not a Twilight fan and that may have turned me off, plus I'm curious about Twinkies now!

I think I saw that you were reading and wanted to check it out. It's cute so far and yes I definitely want to try her cupcakes!

I love the names of her cupcakes too, that was a cute book! I need to read the second one.

I was due for a biography read, and after enjoying music bios The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band and Life I went this time with . Just finished it at lunchtime, and enjoyed it very much. Now, back to the monster pile of TBR on my nightstand.....=]

Just started The Shining. With Halloween around the corner, I figured it was time for a horror novel.
