I finished the first book in a matter of days, it was definitely less than a week, super easy read. It's Hunger Games (without violence) and The Bachelor mixed together. It's good, predictable but I'm still enjoying it.

I am also reading Diggin your dark side, well struggling to read a chapter once a week until I hit my gave it a fair shot spot lol. Also on 2nd book of a series I just started specifically for the color challenge Red Glove hoping to finish it today and start Black Heart the final in the series

message 172: by Brandy (new)

Brandy | 2535 comments I am currently doing a reread of the Hollows series, I am on Pale Demon. I am also working my way through the Nocturne Falls Universe. These books are hit and miss, so the author had a crazy idea. She was getting such demand for new books that she opened the series to other authors. They entered her world introduced new stories. Cool concept, some I like more than others but that is to be expected.

I'm loving it so far. The dialogue is incredibly realistic and the characters are interesting. I'm sure there are layers to it I'm not picking up on, haha, but it's really making me think.

Jessica Foster | 64 comments I just finished the Stephanie Plum series and I devoured each book like potato chips!! Now I am trying to focus on Louisa a biography about Louisa Adams, Wife to John Quincy Adams. Having a little trouble making the transition. It’s a really good book and worth the time but if anybody has a book I can read on the side to lighten the evening, I would love a recommendation!

Rebecca M. | 27 comments The Boy Who Dared

I tried to read it once before but my personal life got topsy-turvy and I wasn't able to finish it. I'm about halfway through now and so far I'm loving it, although it's pretty sad... especially since I already know, basically, what's going to happen.

message 193: by A. (new)

A. Hall (tenover10) | 5 comments Currently reading The Azazel Syndrome by J.E. Kennedy . Omg! What a wonderful surprise! I don't remember why I added this book to my list but it's definitely a departure of genre for me. Characters are very strong in this and I love it. Even when it switches POV, everybody we meet feels fully fleshed out, realistic and relatable. And it's a compelling post-apocalyptic as well with an intriguing mystery that has me hooked. I did not expect to love this as much as I do.

Also reading Pink by Stephanie Powell . Very interesting. I like the entertaining premise and this author knows what she's doing with characters as well.

message 194: by Melanie (new)
