Julie M (woolyjooly) | 314 comments Gretchen Rubin’s “The Happiness Project” helped move the needle up a bit in the cold, dark days of November! I’ve also got “Better Than Before” on my nightstand.

Finished State of Wonder by Ann Patchett State of Wonder. It was.
Moved on to the hard copy of a book I started to listen to, but it was due back to the library before I finished it. Heck! I'd hardly gotten into it. Inland by Téa Obreht Inland

Paul Manytravels (mountainhighonbooks) I just finished The Uninhabitable Earth and posted my review Here are a few thoughts about it:

The book does not argue about whether or not there is Global Climate Change, nor about whether or not it is largely the result of human activity. The book instead details the multiple impacts of the climate change in every arena. It’s impact touches everything: migration especially as regards creating more refugees, drought, famine, mammal extinctions, population growth trends, crime statistics and anything else and the book presents to inarguable facts about each.
It’s a book I hope everyone will read. It may be too late to stop the trend or even to slow it much, but we can give thought to what to do to help those who are already its victims. In the end, probably, that will be a kind of self-help.
