You should be able to add the book manually as the author, but you have to take up that status. You can also ask a librarian or send an email to [email protected] & they'll help you out. The latter will make you an author. Don't do that unless you want to be known as one. There are pluses & minuses.

There is nothing you can do to get your book on the list of recently published books. GR has its own method of making the selection.

If you want to run a giveaway you have to claim your author account. To find out how to do that you can search the Articles on the Help page.
