This week, we've got a challenge for you! Share your three favourite books that are not on the FBR Bookshelf (which as of right now, has 1036 books). You can double-check the bookshelf here to see if your choices are not on it: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...

Maria (mariasaleem) | 684 comments The Book of Lost Things - one of my favourites and surprisingly underrated
The Book of Three - ironically, I discovered this book through this very group!
Distant Horizon - this is a sci-fi, but I quite liked it for how simple yet intense it was, plot-wise

Bill | 2150 comments Looking through my read list I have a surprisingly large amount of 5*s not read by the group.
1. The Forgotten Beasts of Eld by Patricia A. McKillip - really anything by McKillip
2. The Heresy Within by Rob J. Hayes - Abercrombie-esque grim fantasy
3. Hawkwood and the Kings by Paul Kearney - epic fantasy with one of my favorite ever character arcs

Aakash (procrastinator) | 448 comments 1. The Merchant of Death. I think this book was sometimes boring but considering the series as whole it is one of my favourite SciFi series.
2.I Am Number Four. The same thing goes for this. I love this as a series.
3.The Secret of Spellshadow Manor. This holds a special place in my heart. I loved the series although it has more negative reviews than positive but this was the series which made me think I should give more time to reading. This was the series for which I made Goodreads account back in 2018 so I can rate all the books in series 5 star.

Bill | 2150 comments Hearts Blood would have been on my list if it was a top 5.
