"Hi Nathan." She whispered. She looked down some. "I'm sorry if I can't stand still of stay focus." She whispered.

"ADHD isn't that bad, there are ways to kind of control that ya know." He didn't elaborate but just left it at that. She didn't need to introduce herself, he knew exactly who she was. Jules the rich quiet girl who does no school activities but goes to every parent teacher night with both her parents.

"No I don't know." She whispered. She looked down at the floor. She was burden to him as she was to everyone. She took a deep breath trying not to feel out of place but it wasn't working.

"I think, it would be better if we called it a night. This friend thing isn't going anywhere right now." He said getting up and standing in place.

She understood what that meant. "Okay." She whispered softly. She knew she shouldn't care as much as she should about not making a friend but she did.

He passed her a blanket "it gets cold out here at night." He said before he himself fell back into the couch turning on to his back staring at the ceiling.

"Thank you." She whispered. She curled into a little ball on the bed. She was alone here always will be.

Nathan spent most of the night re-thinking what he was going to do, the hour of sleep that he got didn't do him any good. At about 6 in the morning he was already pacing the room, shaking his head at ideas.

Jules woke up slowly when the sun set in. Her parents were probably worried. She sat on her bed being quite seeing him pace. She didn't say anything at all knowing he probably didn't want her voice talking.

He realized that she was awake but didn't say anything. If she wanted to talk she'd come to him. He busied himself with getting something to eat and headed out the door. He had to find a newspaper and fast.

She was in a little ball. She didn't really know what to do at all. She took her phone out playing a game on there to help her calm down some.

"We're leaving." He's said rushing through the door. He threw the newspaper on to the couch. Her parents had already reported her and her car missing. "If your going to shower or whatever it's now we're leaving in twenty minutes."

"Its okay I can wait." She whispered. She looked up at him. "Its going to be fine they just are worried they have to give up money." She said sadly.

"They'll want to show the media how much they care. They don't care at what cost, reputation is everything." He said stuffing blankets and spare cans of food in his bag.

She nodded her head. "I can get us two passports and money leave the country." She whispered. She didn't really want to go anywhere but she had to listen to him.

"We aren't leaving the country. We're leaving this state." He stated, "we won't be stopping for awhile so take advantage while you can of cleanliness,"

"Okay well like I said I can wait." She said. She looked down some trying to block him out.

"Suit yourself," he made his way to the bathroom. Taking a quick shower, thee was no way he was going to miss this opportunity. He went back into the living room, his jeans hanging off his hips and his chest exposed.

She looked up to seem with no shirt on. She looked down. "Didn't anyone teach to where a shirt?" She asked softly trying not to blush.

He smirked amused at her reaction. "I needed a new one," he picked up one from his bag and pulled it over his head. "

"Well you should have brought one with you." She said seeing that he smirked. She wonder if he was picking on her.

He shrugged not letting her see the amusement "or you could get used to it." He said raising an eyebrow at her

She nodded her head. She looked down. She wasn't going to say anything now. "Okay." She whispered. She didn't want to make anyone upset.

He finished up packing. Having two bags filled with things that they may need, including money, water and blankets. "Last chance, I'm packing this and we're gone." He said as he walked out the door lugging one bag out with him.

She nodded her head. "I'm fine." She whispered. She looked at him. "Look I don't need a shower at the moments since I took one in the morning yesterday." She whispered. She looked down some. she got up. "I'm ready."

He walked back into the house not hearing what she said "let's go." He walked out the door again with the second bag and threw it into the trunk. "We need to make a out stop and dump the car."

She looked at him and nodded her head. "How are we going to get out of here without a car?" She whispered softly. She looked at down as she followed him.

"We have this car, my buddy is going to meet us somewhere along our trip, definitely before we hit the next state. " he explained getting into her car and starting up the engine.

She nodded her head some. "Okay." She whispered. "Which state are we going to?" She asked softly.

"Somewhere big, New York or maybe Florida." He said "it's going to be a long drive." He said under his breath. He started to drive making his way down the long gravel road back to the highway.

"Well they police can't do anything until 24 hours they may have said something but they can't do anything. So we have around 24 hours to get all the way across the this state and the next state. Two states are normally the radius for these kind of things." She whispered. "We can't go to Florida because I have grand parents there they would be smart to look there. New York is a risk to because of there's more people who might see the pictures" She looked out the window. "I need to dye my hair blonde because no will know its me because I despise blondes." She said.

"Blonde it is," He whipped out his own cell phone and started speaking to his friend who was to bring him the car. "He's meeting us at the next exit, quick exchange. Don't talk don't anything, he's getting some dye. We get there you get in the car don't make yourself noticeable."

She nodded her head. "Okay." She whispered. She looked down some. Meeting a new person never was her forte.

He turned on the exit, making his way to a small run down gas station. He turned off the engine "there's Ace, that's his car, I'm going to pull up to it get into the car as quick as possible." He pulled up to it slowly waitin for her to make a run for it.

She got out and ran to car. She curled herself in a ball once she was in the car. She didn't want to be here. Even though she hated her parents she felt this was awful.

Nathan got out of the car exchanging her keys for Ace's. He patted Ace on the back and thanked him telling him he owed him big time. He got into the new car and looked into the white plastic bag in the passengers seat, "this is the dye, there's a bathroom here. Go do your hair." He said tossing her the bag.

Jules nodded her head. Her light red hair seemed to die pretty good. She looked up in the at herself. She smiled lightly and she walked to the car after she was done looking down.

He had to do a second take once she got into the car. He cleared his throat "it looks good on you," he complimented subtlety

"Thanks." She said. She smiled lightly. She didn't say anything else. Thats the firs nice thing anyone has told her.

He smiled back, starting to head down the road. He turned on the radio loud rock music blaring. He tapped his finger son the steering wheel.

"Can you turn it down a little bit." She whispered softly.

"Don't like rock music?" He yelled over the music. He continued to tap the steering wheel getting into the song.

She gave up and just looked down. She took a deep breath she getting a little mad. "Please shut the music off."

He laughed lowering the music enough that you could only hear the beat and not the singer. "Rock is a no go," he said "got it." He nodded looking at her through the rear view mirror.

"No it was too loud." She whispered softly. She looked at him then looked down.

"You weren't kidding 'bout the social anxiety." He said nodding slowly to himself. "Better get used to me we're on this um road trip together."

"No I wasn't kidding about it why would I do a thing like that?" I asked.

"Girls like attention, figured it was that." He shrugged, he didn't know how to deal with these kinds of girls.

"Because I'm one of those girls?" She asked. She looked down. She didn't like this. "Can't you just let me go."

"Sorry, that would be a big mistake on my part. You got yourself into this mess." He stated "not me." He shrugged knowingly. He had planned it well 5 minutes and he would've been out of there.
