I've finished it was absolutely incredible. I am so in love with this series and I am dying to get my hands on book 3 but it doesn't even release until 2021 *sobs*

I also need to read the second book to Wintersong! We have a few other series in common that are unfinished but they are ones I'm going to have to restart as it has been long enough I don't remember them well enough to just jump back into the unread ones.

Also.. currently reading Children of Virtue and Vengeance and I am so with you on this series.. I was blown away by the first one and loving book 2 so far!

@Kayleigh I'm currently reading but so far I'm not enjoying it nearly as much as book 1 :(

Finished and it was amazing. I can’t wait for book 3 which releases in August so not too long to wait.

I finished it and I just didn't really gel with the characters in this one - it all felt a bit rushed but also drawn out at the same time (I know it's a contradiction but it's the best way I can think to describe it)

Yay for it not being too long of a wait for book 3 and for being caught up on another series Kay.

Hey guys,
Sorry I’ve been so AWOL for the past few weeks. Things have been so manic at work I haven’t even had time to read a page for the past few weeks until today. I’m aiming to me back at it and active from now hopefully.

I finished another series. I read Shadowsong but was actually really disappointed in it. There’s another one scratched off the TBR though.

Yay for finishing another series. Too bad it wasn't very good

I was super sad as I really loved the first book. Oh well, we can't love them all can we?

Up next I'll finally be finishing off the Snow Like Ashes series. I'm starting next

I've just read two novellas that are part of the series I'm trying to finish. So although it may be cheating, I'm totally counting them.

I've just culled my bookshelves (again) and my TBR is now under 280. I refuse to let it get above that again. It currently sits at 274 to read. This year I am determined to get my TBR down.

I'm pretty jealous of that too. I'll never get mine that low. Too many new shinies lol.

I had so many books on my shelves that have been there for 5 years or more and I thought I need to just be brutal and accept I'm not going to read them as I seem to keep reading more recent books. Now the challenge to get it under 200 is on.

Updated all of my stats. I read 5 books in January, all were YA Fantasy and by female authors. I'm hoping to switch it up and read some different genres this month.

I've decided each month is going to have a 'theme' and I'll be selecting books from that these to make me tackle my TBR more. January was series that I haven't finished. February is going to be books that I got from Illumicrate and/or Fairyloot.

I loved it was great. I love a good sci-fi book and I'm dying for book 2 but I'm on a book buying ban. I'm adding it to my wishlist in the hope someone buys it for me for my birthday haha.

I've just finished reading and I've never had a more mixed reaction to a book. It was slow to start and then when it picked up I was loving it. It was so interesting and then I just got bored and ended up giving it 2 stars.

Last year I found that I was reading a lot of the same genre so I'm doing to try and get my reading different genres.

It always makes me feel good when I see my TBR list go down! Hopefully you’ll find another genre (or more) that you enjoy, Kay! :)

I tried Wonder Woman and I just couldn't get past the slow beginning! Maybe I'll try again though if it really does get better.
