Once the reading challenge starts, you can come over here and share the first book you're reading! Maybe you'll find someone else reading the exact same one?

Have you finished a book? Tell us as well! Maybe even add some of your thoughts about the book. Did you enjoy it? Or didn't you?

What's going to be your next read?

Every small progress you make, you can share here! Even if you just want to talk about a huge event that just occurred and you need to shout about it for a bit.

NAT.orious reads ☾ (thevoiceofthewolf) | 37 commentsGone by Midnight - done: haunting and nail-biting, just what I am used to from this series.

Dreams of Gods and Monsters - done: I am overwhelmed by how underwhelmed I am by this book.

Sadie - done: if the antagonist in this book isn't a monster, I don't know who is.

Dead Mountain: The Untold True Story of the Dyatlov Pass Incident - done: absolutely loved it. Glad Donnie kept all the supernatural and hand of God quack out of this.

Into Hell - done: well, this was rubbish, to say the least.

Know My Name: A Memoir - done: powerful and brave, but also dark and triggering it never fails to see the light.

What Lies Between Us - done: whelp, consider me damanged.

A Madness of Sunshine - done: if I didn't listen to true crime podcasts while not asleep or reading actual books, I wouldn't believe the abhorrent crimes one could commit.

Verity - done: I can't believe CH wrote this. It was so good!

A Robin Reads (arobinreads) I have finished my first book Shutter island by Dennis Lehane. And I loved it, it was the best!

Those were my exact feelings when I read this book. This series would have been better for me if there was an extra book because the second one seemed to be only about worldbuilding and what didn't fit into the second book, went to the third one. And what really mattered about the plot seemed rushed and I didn't care enough to be excited or surprised.

Bec (_becandbooks) Finally finished up my first book - The June Boys. Kinda sad because I was highly anticipating this book but ended up being fairly average tbh.

Halfway through What the Other Three Don't Know and starting In Pursuit of Love: One Woman’s Journey from Trafficked to Triumphant during my commute this afternoon.

What'd you think of Turn of the Key? I read both it and Lock Every Door recently. The Silent Patient has been sitting on my ereader for too long now.

In my opinion, The Turn of the Key didn't do me justice. It was a 2 star read for me. The book dragged out. But Lock Every Door got me hooked and I'm going to definitely try and finish it today if not tomorrow. Oh! And you should definitely start reading The Silent Patient. I didn't get far into it, but very interesting...

I was honestly a bit underwhelmed by both - but they made enjoyable, fun audiobooks. It'll be interesting to hear what you think of the end of Lock Every Door!

Yep! I finished it like around 2 am and things went all the way south. Stuff happened that I didn't think was gonna happen. I still am left for words and don't know what to rate the book yet.

Ah, I guess I'm not the only one who had that reaction...

I'm very curious about it!

Fefe | 18 comments Just finished Milkman and it was a very difficult read. The formatting with run-out sentences and long paragraphs made the reading slow and difficult to swallow. If it wasn't for the audiobook, I would have DNF'ed it. I also wish I had more insight into Irish history to understand the criticism that the author was making.

I also loved The Toll and the whole series. I haven't yet tried the Ash Princess trilogy, would you recommend them?
