Aurielle really ticked me off in this one.

And I was glad to see (view spoiler)[that the walking stick is back. But I wonder what Mercy has done to it by wishing it back into existence and using it to fight Underhill (hide spoiler)].

Adam, Adam's wolves, Adam's ex AND Underhill... Mercy, Mercy, Mercy!!!

* What did you think of the continuing storyline? I think Mercy deserves a medal putting up with Adam, Adam's wolves, Adam's ex AND Underhill... She is a fantastic Stepmom AND she should just nuke the new Underhill door, nothing good ever comes from the fae…

* How did the plot compare to others in the series? Strong as ever with a few more twists. Her new vampy admirer is a little creepy, wonder how long that is going to last and will it get worse before it is dealt with. Little disappointed with Adam this go around, happy he finally got his $hit together towards the end. Toughen up buttercup!

* Did you have a favorite quote or scene? Happy with the walking stick coming back. Her "family" trying to come to the rescue.

* Would you recommend the book to others? Yes, definitely!! One of my fav series...

I agree with all that Lis said.

Aurielle needs to think before she acts, not just mindlessly follow Christy's demands.

And I laughed when the villian's name was revealed!

Mercy is definitely the 'power' in the area, the go-to gal and its working cause she does her research, thinks & asks questions.

I guessed who the villain was and it was a fun reveal. I love how Patricia Briggs expands on fairy tales we know and introduces us to lesser known ones in this series.

That first scene really pissed me off and at first I was like oh god please no Christy appearances.

I feel like we’ve watched Jesse grow from a little girl and now she’s in college!

I can’t wait for the next one especially with how things are progressing with Tilly and Wulf!

It's been fun watching Jesse grow up. :)

I loved this one too. But man Adam was pissing me off with how he was refusing to communicate with Mercy and just tell her what was happening to him.

Wulf intrigues me and creeps me out at the same time. I really want to know more about his backstory.

Jesse is awesome, and I love the relationship between her and Mercy. It’s obvious how much Mercy loves her, but she never tries to replace Christy as Jesse’s mom.

All in all, another fantastic story in this series. ❤️😊

I would be ecstatic if I never heard from or about or saw Christy in the books again. I love everything about this series and reading this book reminded me that I’d do good to go back and read the entire series from the beginning.
I liked Wulfe’s appearances, the antagonist of the story, Adam, the wolves, Zee (though I’d like to see him more active in some of these plots) and fairy stuff, everything Mercy, Julie and everything about her (a thought I just had that I think would be cool is if there were an opportunity to read a short story about anything in her life from her perspective)
I always finish these stories with more thoughts about the world which is awesome considering how complex everything is

The whole thing with him sitting outside Mercy's window was just spooky! LOL

Funny. Spooky. Quite Creepy!
