I don't really know what to feel about this world. I think that it's horrible that everyone is defined by a number, and the fact that if you marry to someone of lower class, you're automatically degraded as well. Also, there is the fundamental circumstance that your career and status in society is based off what your ancestors could do; what if their future generations have more to offer? But at the same time, the world isn't... terrible. At least, not like The Hunger Games "terrible". The whole idea of the Selection is very interesting and I am very intrigued to see what kind of interviews and trials these young girls are going to have to go through.
So far, I like America. She seems like a sweet girl, but her head may be a little too stuck up in the clouds. But hey, isn't that what love does to us all?
AANNNDDDD, Aspen is a beautiful, thoughtful human being. Yeah! :)

uh have i mentioned that i love red hair so amrica has already some bonus points as a protagonist xD
How do you feel about the world thus far? Is it unique, atrocious, unsettling, enviable?
Also, what do you think of the protagonist, America?
