The Wizard and the Hopping Pot. (view spoiler)
Yeah XD So now it'll be about 5 days until I start and finish Clockwork Angel, and then I'll read Sundae Girl, so it'll be a while until I get back to our buddy reads. That okay?

The Tale of Three Brothers (view spoiler)
Overall, a lovely sweet book and a reminder of the good ol' days of Harry Potter.

Reading from the 3rd of January 2016

God! I missed the magical world so much. Especially Dumbledore. <3
And, the introduction was really good. It was so good to hear JKR saying that the heroines of these stories weren't damsels in distress. I always had this complaint with Muggle fairytales.
Mrs. Bloxam is a piece of pure art.
..... and protecting the precious flower of their innocence.
LOL. That's ridiculous! Awesome, JKR! 8)

I liked how Asha, Amata and Altheda had their own special roles and Sir Luckless didn't steal the limelight. It happens in fairytales that the men get to have all the fun and ladies are left with the crying parts. But, everybody had their moments here. So, I'm really happy.
And, I loved Dumbledore's commentary. That drama was epic!

This story definitely did have a dark theme. Nevertheless, it was good. I don't get why the Warlock didn't want to fall in love. I mean, everybody wants love. Needs love. And, the ending was a surprise. Maybe, I anticipated another happily-ever-after. I should have known better than that. After all, JKR is full of surprises, isn't she?
