What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I read this book early to mid 90's.
It had a group of kids who were playing/walking somewhere and found a cave. They went inside the cave and I think they ended up trapped at the bottom and then killed by a demon. The cover may have had red writing on it.
I know that it isn't "Trapped in a cave" by Bill Wallace
