I am currently reading

I'm finishing The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and starting Red Hood so I have a book that counts for the Readathon! :)

I’m currently reading one of The Originals books and have just finished The One :)

Ooo Ani, let me know what you think of Songbirds of Ballads and Snakes. I finished that one not too long ago and am interested to hear other people’s opinions!

Hey Nicola! I finished The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and didn't liked it that much, but I'm glad I read it haha. How about you? Has anyone else read it?

i haven't read it yet. i still have to read mockingjay, but i keep putting it off :/

I enjoyed reading it but it didn’t live up to the expectation of what I thought it would be.. it was a little slow moving and not on parr with her other books but I think I just enjoyed going back to the franchise which is why I favoured it a bit more than many have as in way nostalgic for her books xD I don’t like Snows character though so why she chose to right a whole book on him is beyond me!! So many people didn’t like it!

My feelings exactly!! It was boring at times and I hated Snow, but in a good way I guess haha. Looking at it as a character, I liked reading his thoughts and they way his mind worked. As Snow...I hated him, just as always. I'm glad I read it bc, well, it's a Hunger Games book. But it can't be compared to the original trilogy. I hope the movie is more action packed and exciting haha. And I hope she writes more books but now outside of the Hunger Games world. I was so nostalgic as well to read The Hanging Tree song again haha, and so funny how Snow hated the Mockingjays instantly. Those are not spoilers btw haha, but I won't say more.
