Paranormal Romance & Urban Fantasy discussion

I started reading the New Species series by Laurann Dohner and LOVED the universe and the female NS but when I looked ahead only ONE book is about a female NS.

I'm heart broken.

Is it worth reading or should I just skip to #9?

I still like them. Most of the female NS don't want to settle down. They can't have babies yet and most love the freedom to play the field. Maybe that's why there's not a book about them. If they get the baby issue fixed, maybe it will be a different story.

I've read the first four, and I enjoyed all of those. By that point the NS females are still extremely weary of human males, so it's not surprising that they're all about the males. Like Carolyn said, also - they want to just do their own thing - not settle down.

I guess I'll settle for femslash fanfic to fill the void.

I want to read that!!! I guess I have to read everything
