Trisha (trishabisen) | 2389 comments This thread is to discuss Recursion by Blake Crouch.

Pages: 336 pages

Length: 1 Month (July)

Participants: Trisha, Simbarashe, SarahKat.

Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!

Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.

Happy Buddy Reading!

Joan Barnett | 1007 comments I am only on page 24 but this book has grabbed me right away. It's not going to take me long!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like his books. I also tend to gravitate more towards books with a lot of dialogue and this book looks like it has that.

message 14: by Joan (new)

Joan Barnett | 1007 comments I've completed Book 1. So far this book is everything that I wanted it to be. Dark Matter was one of my favorite books. The writing is fast paced and lots of dialogue which I love. I'm interested in the direction that this book is going to go in.

Joan Barnett | 1007 comments Just finished book two. I'm still loving the book. Halfway through and I want to finish it tonight but have been tired so it might end up being tomorrow.

That is almost exactly what my husband said too! Men 🙄
Until I pointed out that we probably would not be together because he would have changed the trajectory of his life. I guess we women overthink these things and men underthink them haha.

Dark Matter was just as good! Read it a few years ago.

Ditto, SarahKat! I responded the very same thing to my husband, but I don't think he'd mind my absence, haha!

Thanks for recommending Dark Matter!

message 21: by Joan (new)

Joan Barnett | 1007 comments I just completed this. I loved it and I loved the ending.

(view spoiler)

I ended up rating it 5 stars. I saw in some comments about the book that people didn't like the repetitiveness of it but I thought that is what made the book good.

And I loved Dark Matter - I hope you have fun reading that!
