NetGalley Addicts Support Group discussion

Hi! I’m new to NetGalley and I am very excited. However, I have a question. What if I don’t have time to read the book before the date it is published? Do I have to notify them do I get in trouble?

I’ve missed tons of publication dates (poor time management, oops) and I’ve never notified anybody. I don’t know if that puts a big red button on your profile from the publisher side of things that says MISSED PUBLICATION DEADLINE! but I don’t think it has that much of an effect. Either way I haven’t found myself blacklisted from the publishers for future requests :)
