Ch 1 Eva
- [ ] Oooo I like this introduction! Learning about these nine gods are really fascinating, they all sound super interesting
- [ ] Laysa, if you had to choose, what power would you want? I’m not going to be cruel, you can choose more than 1 if you wish :)
- [ ] For me I’ll choose Magda power of healing, Loris power to breath underwater and Nikomides power over weapons and enchantments
- [ ] I wouldn’t want to be Acantha, as much as I would want to see the past and future, it’s seems like a tricky power to handle, especially if it’s looking at other people’s one. True it will be good for battles but that’s too much knowledge I reckon
- [ ] Ooo we meet Halcyon already, something must be wrong if she is meeting them a day earlier and in secret with Eva

Ch 2 Eva
- [ ] Oh boy there is definitely something wrong! I wonder if she had to escape or if she has done something like kill someone

Ch 3 Hal
- [ ] Aww man I feel so bad for Hal, something terrible must have happened and I bet Eva will try to Help her as much as she can when she can

Ch 4 Eva
- [ ] Oh man, Commander Straton is quite the intimidating man, he will definitely punish Hal and possibly Eva and her family when she is found
- [ ] I liked the stories of the gods and the fury one of them has

Ch 5 Hal
- [ ] Well it didn’t take long for the commander to find her
- [ ] I’m glad the priest still managed to help her in the way he did

Ch 6 Hal
- [ ] Oh boy there was more to what was going on then what I thought
- [ ] I feel bad for what Hal has done, why were they fighting blind to begin with? Is this how they trained? Probably, I do remember learning bout the hoplites and the tough training they had to do
- [ ] I wonder what was there secret mission they had to complete

Ch 7 Eva
- [ ] Holy, she killed the commander’s son! Wow no wonder she ran, I would have too!
- [ ] Those mages were very sneaky with using their gifts! I cannot believe a enchanted song stole everything they had

Ch 8 Eva
- [ ] Wow, I have high respect for Eva now, I never thought she would do that but she has got guts to want to serve the sentence along with her sister

Ch 9 Eva
- [ ] Oh I’m glad he was able to help Eva see Hal one last time. It is good to see them together and now Eva knows something was definitely happening between Xander, the commander and Hal
- [ ] I really want to know what the secret mission was

Ch 10 Eva
- [ ] What? Why didn’t she ask how did they get the lost relic of their ancestor?!
- [ ] Wow she has the power to fly, that would be handy
- [ ] I’m loving this book! Onto part 2!

ahh i swear i'll catch up ASAP, i'm trying to juggle 8 books and school right now (and kind of failing) but i can't wait to start this!

Ok I’ve read the first section! Yes yes yes, I agree with all your thoughts, and I love the sisterly relationship between Hal and Eva even after not seeing each other for years! I reckon something will happen between Eva and this other brother while Eva is serving her sentence, and I’m just hoping that the family isn’t too cruel to her. And yes, I can’t wait to find out more about this mystery between Xander and Hal! What’s Hal hiding....

Firstly: I'm so sorry for now stopping by earlier! Work is killing meeee.

Secondly: I would like to be blessed by Irix, to have power over the weather and elements. (I would never sweat again in my life and would be able to sleep by the sound of rain every night, lol). I would also love to be able to breathe underwater, so Loris!

Now: I'm enjoying this one a lot! What happened to Hal crushed me! She seems really honored and brave like Eva said, and to be disgraced like that over an accident...

Then there's Straton, I don't get him. It seems like he cares for Hal, but then he just sentenced her to 15 years! I know there's much to learn about the mission and all, but... damn, 15 years.

Macarius is def gonna appear again and clearly, he's not on the girls' side.

Also, the RELIC? I was NOT expecting her family to have it! I mean, hasn't her father lost a brother over it?

Overall I loved the sisters' relationship, is so fresh! You can feel the love and care they have for each other. Eva may be physically weaker than Hal, but her love for her sister is stronger than anything.

yeah i agree, poor Hal! and i mean i kind of understand where Straton is coming from (he did lose a son) but yeah he's being pretty harsh to Hal, she obviously loved the guy she killed (sorry name blank ahah).

and yeah it's pretty surprising that Eva's dad had the relic the whole time! i'm sure it'll come in handy. the sisters' definitely have a gorgeous relationship!
