Turkey My Name Is Red A classic! I'm glad I read it. I read it quickly though, and I think it would be better to read it more slowly.

I had heard about the slave ship that ran aground and where the people lived on an island in the Caribbean. Now I know a lot more about these people, and the people who came before, and the eventual British take over. A complex history.
