Have to finish:
The Dark Tower
The Clifton Chronicles
Want to start:

Charming prose with a good balance of feel-good and sad moments. The book has a great flow in unfolding the events of the war in Guernsey.
As mentioned in my review, I love to read about the lives of "unimportant" people during important times.

Best book of the series so far. Their ka-tet is back on the path of the beam after a long peek into Roland's past
3. And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer
A touching short story, one that only Fredrik Backman could pull off. It's short enough for me to keep re-reading it every once in a while.
4.It Only Happens in the Movies
Liked the ending. One extra star just for it.
5. Eleanor & Park
2 kids who don't quite fit in. Park readily accepts that he loves her while Eleanor is more resistant to do so. Park comes from a loving well-to-do family while Eleanor doesn't. An overall well-put love story.

This one was finally a little better than the rest. It is the only book I like after the first one in the series.
7. Veronika Decides to Die
It seemed like a lifetime ago since I first read this one. I was not sure I would like it again in the current state of my mind. But I ended up liking it even better.
8. The Catcher in the Rye
The book was good but I personally found the whiny tone quite annoying but, maybe that was the point of it.
9.Hidden in Plain Sight
Good thriller if you're in the mood for it. I hope this doesn't become another Clifton Chronicles type series.
10. A Christmas Carol
I loved it.
11. 'Salem's Lot
I have quite a lot to say about this book. Most of all I hadn't read a proper horror standalone by Stephen King in a long time and I realized how much I missed that.
12. Anxious People
There is something about Frederik Backman. He just puts everything I need to hear in words.
13. Dark Matter
2 days of journey 7 days apart and I was so engrossed in this book that I didn't feel the fatigue of traveling or even the discomfort of wearing a mask and face shield all day long.
14. Ella Minnow Pea: A Novel in Letters
Just the kind of light-hearted humor I needed.

Thank you Blagica!
Frederik Backman's books keep me grounded to my feelings and And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer is a book short enough to definitely keep revisiting every now and then.
Also I'd recommend Recursion to anyone who is interested in thrillers!!

I found myself with nothing to do for 3 months in the midst of the pandemic and hence I reached 50 (my all-time high) books in 2020. Reaching 51 in 2021 is going to be more challenging, but that's what I'm here for!!
I discovered and added many more books to my TBR this year and want to get as close as I can to finish them all.
Progress: 28.
Doing a bad job at updating the books. :/
