The Fatal Flying Affair (A Lady Hardcastle Mystery #7) by T.E. Kinsey
Historical/Outside US
This is one of my favorite series! Another great addition, these books never disappoint. I am looking forward to the next.

Chilled to the Cone (A Bakeshop Mystery #12) by Ellie Alexander
Culinary/Career-Based
Another favorite series that I am all caught up on, waiting patiently for the next. =)

Final Sentence (Cookbook Nook Mystery, #1) by Daryl Wood Gerber
Career-Based/Freebie
This is a new to me series and author. I have to admit, I did not like this one bit. The characters were a bit over the top in the way they acted and the things they said. Very repetitive and the story moved so slow. I ended up skimming the last half of the book because I just wanted to finish it. Will not be continuing on with this series!

Hi, Stefanie! I LOVE Lady Hardcastle and Florence! "A Quiet Life in the Country" was my first cozy ever. I will definitely be reading one or more for this challenge.

Marshmallow Malice (Amish Candy Shop Mystery #5) by Amanda Flower Candy Cane Crime (Amish Candy Shop Mystery #5.5) by Amanda Flower
Career Based/Culinary
Both of these are part of the Amish Candy Shop Series. The first is a full novel, the second is a novella. The author has been releasing the novellas in between each installment of the series, and I have really been enjoying them. They usually have some sort of mystery (not involving murder) which is a nice break and gives more insight into some of the side characters which I find very interesting. I am all caught up with this series now, and can’t wait for the next one scheduled for April.

Paint the Town Dead (Silver Six Crafting Mystery #2) by Nancy Haddock A Crime of Poison (Silver Six Crafting Mystery #3) by Nancy Haddock
Finished with this series, I really enjoyed it and wish there were more. There are a lot of characters to keep track of, but they are all very entertaining.

Scene of the Brine (Pickled & Preserved Mystery, #3) by Mary Ellen Hughes
Also finished with this one, another trilogy that I enjoyed!

Death and Daisies (A Magic Garden Mystery #2) by Amanda Flower
Amanda Flower has become one of my favorite cozy authors. There is one more book available from this series, and I hope she continues with it. I love all of her books that I have read so far. This one has a touch of magic but it's not over the top. I like the fact that there is some depth to the characters and their stories.

Undercover Kitty (Second Chance Cat Mystery #8) by Sofie Ryan
Latest in one of my favorite series by Sofie Ryan, loved it as usual!

Mums and Mayhem (A Magic Garden Mystery #3) by Amanda Flower
Last one in A Magical Garden Mystery by Amanda Flower. Love all of her series and hope she continues with them all.

Marigolds for Malice (Enchanted Garden Mystery, #3) by Bailey Cattrell
I also enjoyed this series, but it looks like the author is not going to continue with it. I'm still glad that I read this trilogy. More books to cross off my list!

Tailing a Tabby (A Bookmobile Cat Mystery, #2) by Laurie Cass Borrowed Crime (A Bookmobile Cat Mystery, #3) by Laurie Cass Pouncing on Murder (A Bookmobile Cat Mystery, #4) by Laurie Cass
I read the first book in this series a while back, and for some reason didn't like it enough at the time to continue with it. I don't remember the reason why I did not like it, so I decided to pick it back up and I am glad I did. There is a lot of humor in these books which I love, and I love that it is set in a library and bookmobile. Eddie the cat is also adorable. Thank goodness that "love triangle" was resolved quickly, hopefully that doesn't resurface. Overall, I really love this series and will be reading all of them!

Cat With a Clue (A Bookmobile Cat Mystery, #5) by Laurie Cass Wrong Side of the Paw (A Bookmobile Cat Mystery, #6) by Laurie Cass
Well the romance was actually not resolved in the way I thought it was. But, I am okay with how it has turned out. It has added a nice little side story to the series. Still enjoying these!

Matchmaking Can Be Murder by Amanda Flower
A new series by Amanda Flower and I loved it! I think she has become my #1 favorite cozy author, I always enjoy her books and always look forward to reading them. This one was a “spin-off” from her Amish Candy Shop mystery. You would not need to read that one first to understand this one, but she does reference characters from the original series.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder (Hannah Swensen #1) by Joanne Fluke
Well, I finally read the first in this series, and I was a bit disappointed. I thought the mystery itself was okay, but I did not like Hannah at all. She came across as very mean and judgmental to everyone which bothered me. It was a nice light and cozy read, but some things that happened were a bit silly. There have been other series where I really dislike the first book, so I will give the next one a try and see how it goes.

I know how you feel. I read five or six books in Lorna Barrett's Booktown series and eight in Kaitlyn Dunnett's Liss MacCrimmon series before I started liking the main protagonists.

I kept reading the former because I like most everything else about the series. The fact that Tricia Miles annoyed me didn't ruin my overall enjoyment of the series.

With the MacCrimmon books, I won the fourth-in-series and figured I didn't care for Liss MacCrimmon because I hadn't started at the beginning. I then read the first three. I didn't like her any better, but now I'd invested the time for four reads. I kept reading hoping the series would get better. Finally, it did. Is it the best series I've read. No, but they are quick reads that I can now enjoy more than I had.

I enjoyed the Hannah Swensen series until book 21, Banana Cream Pie Murder, the ending of which angered me. Then I heard spoilers that angered me more. I'm now six books behind and have no idea when I'll get back to catch up.
