Nancy (paper_addict) Sorry, but I have been too busy and there is a poll up for how often people are interested in having book club discussion so we are going to skip January. That way every one has enough time to make nominations, vote and get the book.

IF you want to vote on the poll for how often to have book club discussions, here is the link:

https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/2...

Post your nomination for February 2021 here so we can get a poll up soon.

No self nominations.

Here is a link to books already read by the group:

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E Schwab
This is a live forever story, so not exactly time travel, but it spans over many years.

Island in the Sea of Time by S.M. Stirling

Pirate Freedom by Gene Wolfe

Cheryl (cherylllr) I know we don't second, but I already am going to have trouble deciding between Addie LaRue and Mastodonia. So I won't nominate anything this time. :)

Lizz Taylor | 218 comments Cheryl those both are on my want to read! I feel the same way so I am not nominating anything either. I am finally getting around to Blasted Past now. Somehow I had missed that being on the list. It is a fun book to read on Christmas Day!

Cheryl (cherylllr) Blasted Past... I missed hearing about this... I'll have to look into it (not nominating it, though!)...

Amy Bea | 17 comments The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue I just read this and it was pretty fantastic. I'd recommend it to anybody. It was so deep and interesting.

Nancy (paper_addict) I am going to get the poll up this weekend so keep checking back.

message 10: by Dean (new)

Dean I was going to suggest One Word Kill by Mark Lawrence as I can't see that on the list of books already read as a group, but as I have missed the poll, can this be considered next time.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Btw, just as well we skipped Jan., all my other clubs put too many demands on my time this month! :)
