It was my first time reading the book and I really enjoyed it.

message 16: by Yashasvii (new)

Yashasvii | 39 comments I really wanna buddy reread acotar but my exams are going on :(

Readingdaydreamer | 11 comments I would rate it 4 stars overall but 5 stars from about chapter 30 when there is more action in the plot :).

Yashasvii | 39 comments @Mashlovesbooks thank you :)

I've read the book several times so of course my favourite character is Rhysand! :D In terms of scenes, I love each of Feyre's trials but especially at the end of the first trial when Feyre throws the bone spear at Amarantha's dress and it's revealed Rhysand was the only one to bet on her.

Oh yes I love Cassian (so excited to see more of him in Silver Flames!). Ooh yes when Feyre was remembering what others had said about his 'heart'. Gosh the PTSD she goes through after it all is horrendous tho :( Tamlin barely had to do any work either!

message 21: by Nakita (new)

Nakita (madame_bocoum87) | -1 comments Omg I can’t wait for a Court of Silver Flames- I love Cassian but Nesta😩🙄 aka Super Biotchhh is a whole different story.

I am excited to see how Sarah redeems her nasty behavior!!

Do you think we will see Tamlin in the new book??? I sure hope so “I have a soft spot for Tam” don’t judge me🙃

message 22: by Yashasvii (new)

Yashasvii | 39 comments @Nakiya samee I didint mind Tam's presence after acotar ,I met new friends ,one and only THE INNER CIRCLE , Nesta was rude to feyre but she is that sibling which doesn't show emotions but cares for you , I totally get Nesta , but that doesn't define her being rude everytime! I can't wait to see her character development.

message 23: by Yashasvii (new)

Yashasvii | 39 comments @Mashlovesbooks aw thank you so much
who doesn't like blushy kaz huh? XD

Readingdaydreamer | 11 comments It's not that I dislike Tamlin I just think he makes a lot of awful decisions but I don't think that makes him an evil person. I also don't hate Nesta I just think she can be very selfish and again makes bad decisions but she's fiercely loyal to certain people and I'm looking forward to seeing her character development. I just want more Night Court and Inner Circle content to sink my teeth into :'-D

message 25: by dorian ♕ (new)

dorian ♕ ♕ I love nesta

message 26: by dorian ♕ (new)

dorian ♕ ♕ Makes me sad though that I didn't see the warning signs tamlin had in acotar

message 27: by Abbey (new)

Abbey (babababs) I love characters that have a lot of flaws because there is so much room for redemption. Character development is addicting! Therefore, I love Nesta and every bit of anger she spews out - because when she folds and shows a soft side we are all going to lose it. In ACOTAR individually I really loved Tamlin and his spring lands. I want to run away and live there smelling sweet flowers and drinking fae wine forever. But these opinions are mostly attached to the first book. ;)

message 28: by dorian ♕ (new)

dorian ♕ ♕ I don't necessarily hate him per say but I do wish that he was less toxic and problematic.

message 29: by dorian ♕ (new)

dorian ♕ ♕ I had to say probably the best part about the entire series is a fact that it's very complex like a lot of characters are very complex

message 30: by julia (new)

julia (no_mourners_no_funerals) | 51 comments when the book started i wasn't super compelled to read it, but it got a lot better later on and i loved the whole part Under the Mountain!! so 4.5 or 5 stars :) my favorite character is definitely Rhysand haha, but i also like Feyre, Lucien, and Nesta. Tamlin was okay at the beginning, but i don't like how he hides information from Feyre and wants to protect her more than he wants her to live her life. my favorite part was the end with Feyre and Rhys :)

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

I still haven't finished the book (I've got until the end of the day so some speed-reading will have to take place haha). I have read it before, but I don't remember how it ends, so I am still excited for this! And I saw some people say that Rhysand was their favorite character, and I've got to say he was my favorite character in this book during my first read-through a couple years ago, but now I'm sort of leaning toward Lucien. I just like his character development from hating Feyre to helping and healing her.

message 32: by Evie (new)

Evie | 4 comments Honestly I think my favourite character in this book specifically, and not the rest of the series, is definitely Alis. Like she’s just so tired of everyone’s bs and is just trying to do her job. She’s like the one voice of reason in the spring court and I love her 😂

message 33: by Yashasvii (new)

Yashasvii | 39 comments @Evie lol I totally forgot about Alis , thanks for reminding me XD

message 34: by julia (new)

julia (no_mourners_no_funerals) | 51 comments @Caroline, yes!! i love the relationship between Lucien and Feyre in the first book :)

message 35: by julia (new)

julia (no_mourners_no_funerals) | 51 comments @Evie, i also loved Alis, and the ending for her in acotar made me really happy

message 36: by Juani (new)

Juani Gardella (juanigardella) I totally agree with Caroline! Lucien's transformation and his story enchanted me, without a doubt he is my favorite character so far. At first I liked Tamlin and at the end I noticed something strange in which I did not like it.
It's the first time I've read the book and I couldn't really stop reading it! I am super excited to continue with the saga!

message 37: by julia (new)

julia (no_mourners_no_funerals) | 51 comments alright!! you too :)

message 38: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa | 5 comments Hi ! Just saw this post and this buddy read seems so interesting ! I already started ACOWAR but i'm just going to pause till February 12 so i can join y'all :)

message 39: by Sharlene (new)

Sharlene (shar_e_ables) | 35 comments Hi, I never have done a buddy read but would like to try it out. Don't know if anyone is ready for ACOSF that's coming out this month (at least in the Netherlands) but if you are and you would like a buddy. Let me know :)

message 40: by dorian ♕ (new)

dorian ♕ ♕ I love it I love it I love it I love--

message 41: by Alicia (new)

Alicia | 3 comments I liked the second book even more than the first. So I gave it 5 stars.

message 42: by Evie (new)

Evie | 4 comments I think Varian and Amren are just absolutely iconic 😂 like when Feyre says “I wondered what - who - she’d eat while here. Varian seemed like a good guess.” I screamed 🙈 I would kill for a book or even a novella about them

Amren is an absolute mood! I would love a novella for her :D

Readingdaydreamer | 11 comments 5 stars all the way for me as this is my favourite book of any series! The writing is amazing and Sarah J Maas always creates awesome worlds and characters to lose yourself in :D I love that a lot of her characters are sometimes morally grey too and have lots of different sides to them rather than being the typical heroes and villains.

message 45: by julia (new)

julia (no_mourners_no_funerals) | 51 comments i loved ACOMAF!!! it was a lot more exciting than the first one for me, as well as ~lessTamlin ahaha~ so 5 stars! i also enjoyed reading about characters who are morally gray, and i liked getting backstories on the court of dreams (who i absolutely love) :)

message 46: by Maisha (new)

Maisha Farzana (maishafarzana) | 239 comments Hey, is anyone here reading "A Court Of Silver Flames"?

message 47: by Sharlene (new)

Sharlene (shar_e_ables) | 35 comments I want to read acosf but have to wait till the first of March because my delivery is delayed :(

Readingdaydreamer | 11 comments Hey guys! I rated this book 4 stars as while I love this fictional world and of course the characters I felt at times the book was hard to get through due to its war/battle focus which doesn't interest me as much as the characters. Nevertheless I love Feyre's development from the earlier books (she's so badass) and any Feysand moment is well loved. :D

Readingdaydreamer | 11 comments Maisha wrote: "Hey, is anyone here reading "A Court Of Silver Flames"?"

I received mine a few days ago! Very exciting and the book is MASSIVE! I'm going to hold off reading it though as want to reread A Court of Frost and Starlight first.

message 50: by Katie (new)

Katie | 30 comments Omg, I've been rereading this series since January, am nearly halfway through A Court of Silver Flames atm. Know I'm late but I'll join in the discussion for ACOSF
