THAT'S WHAT I ALWAYS SAY.
-Keep it PG-13.
-You may only control what your character(s) does. No controlling what another person's character does.
-If, for whatever reason, a character is going to die, you must have consent from the creator of that character before killing them off.
-If two characters are fighting:
Instead of saying "x cuts y's hand," you would say "x slashes at y's hand." This way, it gives the other character a chance to dodge.
-Be realistic. If you're fighting with another character, you can't dodge all the blows.
-Make sure your characters have flaws. Perfect characters are annoying.
-Must be in 3rd person.
Instead of saying "I walked to the door," you would say "John walked towards the door." That way, if you create more than one character, you know who's talking and other things like that.
-Chat must be in double parentheses/brackets [[ ]] or (( ))
-You must make original characters. If you're roleplaying in a Divergent roleplay, don't make "Tris" as a character.
-You can use past or present tense, whatever feels better for you.
-Have fun!
INFORMATION FOR ROLEPLAY:
1) Character Creation. There are several threads where you can create a character. Look at the title for the corresponding fandom so you know which kind of character you are making.
2) After you've created a character, go to the roleplay topic to start roleplaying. If you made a character for Keeper of the Lost Cities, you can roleplay that character in the KOTLC roleplay topic.
3) Have fun roleplaying!
