Xephion | 16 comments Figured I could join this challenge again this year. I beat it fairly easily last year, but it was fun. Like last year, I won’t really pay attention to the monthly colors, though. I hope that’s okay.

January

Thor Son of Asgard by Akira Yoshida War Is Hell The First Flight of the Phantom Eagle by Garth Ennis Noble, Vol. 1 God Shots by Brandon Thomas Accell, Vol 1 Home Schooling by Joe Casey Epochalypse by Jonathan Hennessey Ex Sanguine by Tim Seeley Astro Boy 1 & 2 by Osamu Tezuka Can You Just Die, My Darling?, Vol. 1 by Majuro Kaname Can You Just Die, My Darling?, Vol. 2 by Majuro Kaname Can You Just Die, My Darling?, Vol. 3 by Majuro Kaname Can You Just Die, My Darling?, Vol. 4 by Majuro Kaname Can You Just Die, My Darling?, Vol. 5 by Majuro Kaname Can You Just Die, My Darling?, Vol. 6 by Majuro Kaname Can You Just Die, My Darling?, Vol. 7 by Majuro Kaname Can You Just Die, My Darling?, Vol. 8 by Majuro Kaname Can You Just Die, My Darling?, Vol. 9 by Majuro Kaname Can You Just Die, My Darling?, Vol. 10 by Majuro Kaname Doubt, Vol. 1 by Yoshiki Tonogai Doubt, Vol. 2 by Yoshiki Tonogai Livingstone, Vol. 1 (Livingstone, #1) by Tomohiro Maekawa Livingstone, Vol. 2 (Livingstone, #2) by Tomohiro Maekawa

Read so far: 22/100

Note: I count Astro Boy as two volumes because it’s a collection of Vol. 1 & 2. I could do the same with Doubt but decided against it because Vol. 1 for example is simply called Vol. 1 and not Vol. 1 & 2 like Astro Boy.

No worries. I have a few books with two volumes in them like Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind: The Complete Series, Usagi Yojimbo: The Special Edition, and Revolutionary Girl Utena Complete Deluxe Box Set so I count them as two books each (though I am tempted to count them several more times considering how many they cram into the specials.) So long as you know how many volumes are in each omnibus I think it is fair enough to count a single book multiple times since you are basically reading multiple of the original run. As for the color challenges you are welcome to ignore, join at any time, and/or quit at any time you feel like it. :)
