Karly | 342 comments Hello! Eclectic escapism for the most part this month.

Star Wars: Kanan Ominbus - Greg Weismann. 4 stars

Star Wars: Darth Maul - Son of Dathomir - Jeremy Barlow. 4 stars.

Star Wars: Age of Republic - Villains - Jody Houser. 4 stars.

Star Wars: Age of Rebellion - Villains - Greg Pak. 4 stars.

The Book of Life - Deborah Harkness. 5 stars. After reading this third installment in the trilogy, I’m officially obsessed. I watched season 1 of Discovery of Witches and am soaking up as much about this world as possible.

Hopper - Rolf Gunter Renner. 2 stars. Reading dry non-fiction right after reading magical fantasy fiction was probably not the best idea lol

Wolf Lake - John Verdon. 4 stars. A really solid and engaging murder mystery/detective story.

Dia, The Collection in Beacon - Anne Rorimer. 3 stars. My coffee table book quest continues.

Star Wars: Darth Vader - Dark Lord of the Sith, Vol. 2: Legacy’s End - Charles Soule. 5 stars

Star Wars: Darth Vader - Dark Lord of the Sith, Vol 3: The Burning Seas - Charles Soule. 5 stars

Star Wars: Darth Vader - Dark Lord of the Sith, Vol 4: Fortress Vader - Charles Soule. 5 stars. Wow.

The Complete Sherlock Holmes, Volume 2 - Arthur Conan Doyle. 3 stars. Assisted by audiobook. Thrilled I finally got these read, been on the shelf for a while.

The Catholic Imagination - Andrew Greeley. 3 stars.

Bad Girls Throughout History: 100 Remarkable Women Who Changed the World - Ann Shen. 5 stars

Gotham City Sirens: Book One - Paul Dini. 4 stars

Ann (annrumsey) | 16930 comments Karly: escapism is good! Nice month for you. I keep meaning to read the Deborah Harkness books. The 24 hours of book one on audio has been daunting; not because I don't expect to enjoy it, but because of the other books it will displace to make time for it. I will have to see if I can squeeze it in.

Karly | 342 comments Totally get that Ann! I feel like I’m constantly thinking of each book in terms of how long it’ll take and how many I can fit in, like reading Tetris. I do recommend the Harkness All Souls Trilogy though! Lots of fun magical fantasy and a lot of interesting historical tid bits as well!
