The Prince of Wrath sipped from tea in a dainty china cup.
It was almost ridiculous how absurd that sentence sounded, and yet, he was doing it. And he didn’t care one bit.
He watched the people around him as they went in and out the store, how some said hello to Bertrand.
He also noticed a couple of glances at him, but no one ever actually had the balls to approach him. He always wondered who would finally gather the strength enough to come up to him and talk to him.
So, of course, he was quite shocked to see a Giustizia walk into the Cafe.
For context: Giustizia were rare here in Aenia, considering there were very few witches (aka: no one ever actually revealed their power for fear of the king and what he would do.) and very few beings who HUNTED the witches.
Strange.

"The usual, if you please." He hums to the worker, scanning everyone with that same cold glare.
A light brown finger traced the outline of the cup, as Aeris watched him with his white eyes.
Eyes that were an ivory white, that was probably the reason everyone was warded off by him. Also, probably his ash hair.
That didn’t help, in retrospect.
Also, his pet Hellhound.
Aeris watched the man, the way he moved with a swagger that spoke volumes, and he immediately hated it. The man looked like the world owed him something.
He narrowed his eyes.

He narrowed his eyes.

An apology, at least.
This world took everything from him, and now he was determined to drain it dry of everything it had to offer in return. He didn't want to die knowing others never had to feel the pain he did.
It just wasn't fair.
Beowulf frowned at the man staring at him, and slid into the seat across from him.
"Do you intend on staring at me like that because you think it'll intimidate me?"
Aeris tilted his head and smiled.
“Do you think that groping your sword and twisting your mouth a certain way will make me scared?”
Oh, this was going to be so much fun.
He wondered when the man would guess who he was. It normally took others a couple of minutes to figure out he was a Prince of Hell, and then?
They were running, off to tell their friends that they met a really hot demon, blah blah blah.

Arris’s tongue touched the roof of his mouth, as he smirked at the man. “Beowulf. Sounds childish, like a man trying hard to prove how tough he is.”
Aeris leaned forward. “Yes, I’m a Prince of Hell. Prince of Wrath, specifically. Why do you think my eyes are this color?”
White was the color of Wrath in Hell, though for humans, it was red. He wasn’t why. Since when did the color red associate with Wrath?

Aris smiled even wider, if possible. “Why not? I might like having you fuck with me.” He wondered if this would be considered flirting in this land. He wondered if he cared.

Aeris tilted his head, surprised and caught off guard. Of course he was interesting, he was PLENTY interesting—
What was the man playing at?
Aeris stood up, and smoothly stepped in front of Beowulf. “Well, I would like to state that you aren’t very interesting yourself, sir.”

“I’m not here to entertain you, Your Highness. Now if you’ll excuse me,” He slipped past Aeris, the door chiming loudly as he left. His words were mocking, always so cruel. He was ruthless.
Aeris’s eye twitched. The first time he met someone here, and the person had the AUDACITY to tel HIM that he wasn’t interesting.
The man was lucky he didn’t just kill him right then and there.
Aeris licked his lips and sat back down, calmly returning back to his demeanor. He watched as the Cafe came back to life around him, all signs of the Giustizia gone.

Aeris, the God of Wrath, was not having a good day.
After almost being drastically made maimed and killed by one of his brother’s felons, he sat inside of a cage, sipping nothing other than tea and his sorrows
