1 Read a book with the words magic or magician or witch or wizard in the title.
- Akata Witch by Nnedi OKorafor
2 Read a children's book that contains magic. To qualify, the genre "children" must be listed on the main page of the book (right side of main book page) and must have at least 10 users.
4 Read a book with a traditional magic element on the cover e.g. magic staff, cauldron, witch's hat, wand etc.
- Three Parts Dead by Max Gladstone
Additional criteria:
A maximum of three books may be written by authors who were born or are currently resident in the USA or United Kingdom. Please indicate when completing the tasks which ones qualify for these criteria.
Total: 2/5

For task 2, could we also use the genre MG or middle-grade, as this also refers to children's books (as opposed to YA)? What about some variation of "children" e.g. "children's fiction"?
For task 3 - Sister Sister, which we're currently reading, qualifies as urban fantasy (fantasy, set in a city), but very few users have actually listed and tagged it, so it doesn't have the urban fantasy tag. Can we still use it? What about books with similar tagging problems?
Task 2: MG would count, not YA.
Task 3: I' agree with Sister-Sister qualifying. Part of the problem there is related to the reason I added the additional criteria. It can qualify.

Also realised Sister-Sister qualifies for task 5 in the Assassination challenge. Useful book. I like those...
