Hi hi hi!!! Slept terrible. Woke up way too early so tried to go back to sleep. And now I have no time to read before work! I will actually have some time to read at work today though and I’m thinking of only doing a half day!!

Chapter 3: I don’t think I’ve laughed quite this much during a sex scene! 😂😂

Shall continue reading now. Stopped about half way through chapter 4 this morning. Lunch breaks never feel complete without a book lol

Never!! I am on Chapter 3 now. I already love Lane!! And I am happy we now get Jared's POV. I think it is hilarious and Lane's personality is priceless.

Jared in chapter 4 isn’t great :( too much wallowing in self pity. It’s really depressing!

Yeah that’s fine, since bisexuality is alright I think. She said it shouldn’t be an MFM trope, which this isn’t. Gosh, I hope I’m right 🤞

20. I have what I consider to be a female MC in my book, can I still count it?
There have been instances of where a strong female lead could be considered an MC. Eg in some books friends or female elatives play a big part in the story. Providing no sex takes place with the female 'MC' you my count the book.
UPDATED You may still claim a book if there are one or two small scenes with a female and sex. The book must not be MMF or MFM.

Nice!! I love liking side characters that are MCs in the new book. I just got to where Lane goes back to the bar and Jared is there.

I really like Zoe! I always had more guy friends than girls friends it seemed, so I like that they are friends.

Gosh, this kid is killing me 😂

Also, I think the author has done a fantastic job in selling the age gap. Her writing style completely changes between the two POVs, which is something many authors fail to do. Most age gap books lean heavily one way, usually the kid’s way. But I’m thoroughly enjoying this book!

mmmhhh that sucks. Well I am off and ready to dive back in. Also, Rachel Reid is the only author that I am caught up on her work! After this month's hunt I will be caught up on C.P. Harris as well.

Common Goal isn’t working too well for me though. I was very excited for it after Heated Rivalry, but I’m beginning to think that was the only good book in the series!

Common Goal was not my favorite for sure. Heated Rivalry is my favorite followed by Game Changer then Common Goal. Tough was my least favorite just because Fabian was hard for me to like. Ryan was a wonderful character so he totally made up for it.

I cannot wait for The Long Game!!! Gotta wait like a year.

Totally actually eats pizza so we are good there to with fast food too. Also I’m totally sucking up this buddy read. Really didn’t get any further. So tired after the movie. Anyways you don’t have to remove spoilers. I like them😁😁 give me something to look forward too.

Still love Lane. His quirky demeanor is hilarious and endearing.

Wow!! I'm honestly not that surprised. He was talking about how he was almost done. I am hoping he coaches or does something to do with hockey though! Like Shane & Ilya doing the hockey camp! Just something.

I stopped at Chapter 10 to finish Common Goal (this book i staking me forever to finish!)

Chapter 10 was a train wreck. Put Lane and Jared and Lane's mom together and there was sooo much weird behavior and abrupt changes in topic that I got whiplash from reading that chapter lol! But I guess Lane's awkwardness have had to come from somewhere 😂
