Is there a world power above governments dedicated to population control?

I have just read..."
"It is estimated that the optimum number of people in earth is 3 billion"
Some would dispute that claim Sophia. I understand if every man, woman and child on Earth stood shoulder to shoulder they'd fit into an area the size of Texas. Now I've heard Texas is pretty big... (John Wayne said it was so it must be...) but that leaves a lot of room for humanity to thrive. I think the bigger problem regarding "overpopulation" is Man's greed and misuse/abuse of the planet's natural resources.
Your reference to Hitler prompts me to refer you to our latest blog post. It's related to this discussion... https://morcanbooksandfilms.com/2021/...

This belief that overpopulation is a fact and "very true" is pure propaganda in my opinion - it's not scientific. This theory has brainwashed people to believe we are the virus and are ruining the Earth due to our supposedly high numbers. In reality, our numbers are a threat to the Elites - who probably only number about 100,000... 100,000 vs 3 billion might just be manageable for the Elites, but 100,000 vs 10 billion may not be. I have just read a book called The Viennese Candidate. It is listed on this site and it is about how a powerful organisation bring Hitler to power.
It is not specified that they are run by governments but they are incredibly powerful and ruthless. They see world wars as necessary evils to prevent mass starvation on the planet in future decades.
Now, while the book is fiction, the problem of massive over population is very true. It is estimated that the optimum number of people in earth is 3 billion and we are well over double that number.
Is it really too hard to believe that powerful people would see it as their duty to do something about it.
An interesting point is that the agent who brings Hitler to power has doubts about the morality of his mission and asks why can't we use a virus instead of war? And the answer he is given is that they won't have the technology for at least 70 years.
