Caledonia looked at Josh, not wanting to talk about anything but not wanting him to be ignored, either. "Whatever you'd like," she stated shortly, and then remembered something. "Oh, uh...you--how are you feeling?" She mumbled. "You got caught in that--that fight in the hallway that I sort of initiated."

"Not very," she murmured. "I never had a chance to learn much."

Kiran decided to ignore Josh, so she didn't do anything mean or rash.

"Interesting," she mused. "Why is that? See, I feel like I need to be more powerful, I have to, it's...necessary." She suddenly felt a horrible passion to become more powerful than her classmates, and at least more powerful than many others.

(You always have to be better, otherwise you get hurt.)

(That’s something I would think of in the moment. I’d defend myself, no matter what happened after, even if someone else was hurt, to the best of my abilities)

(It’s my survival, vs someone else’s. If they root for me, and I root for me, why save them?)

(I likely wouldn’t save someone. I don’t know them, so they have to stick up for themselves, I also wouldn’t expect someone to save me. It’s how life is)

((I would save someone, but I wouldn't fight back unless absolutely necessary. But I wouldn't expect someone to do the same for me. Also, I finally got 9 hours of sleep...yay?))
