Caledonia sighed. "What test? We have to take a test?"

Shannon walked in and saw Marethyu. She smiled and walked to the seat next to him. Facing the front, she said. "Helloo."

"Oh, that would be me then, thanks," she muttered, remembering she came in late and then left early.
She looked up, saw Shannon, and felt herself stiffen.

MArethyu overheard,"IT's a test to see if you need to stay in the normal class or take Advanced."

Shannon felt eyes on her then turned around. She looked at Cal, then scowled. She would not forget how mean she was to her earlier. She turned back around.

Marethyu passed a note that read, Later after school I'll meet you at the pond and I'll explain everything....don't tell anyone.".

Shannon took the note and read it. She gave him a slight nod then burned the note.
