This is one of the most popular anime’s in recent years. Be warned though it’s not for the faint of heart. There are many serious scenes and vulgar language used in this anime. However if you can get past the the story is truly amazing.
Imagine being a summoned hero. All sounds good and well, but what if the only weapon you could use to get stronger was a shield. That’s fine though because you can rely on your comrades for help. That would be true, if the main character were summoned to any other county. Instead he is summoned to a country in which the people and royalty there already have prejudice against him. When he is accused of a crime he is immediately expected to be responsible. This is the story of how a hero strives to become strong enough to return home. In doing so he meets many comrades and friends along the way.
