So I was going through all the character romance topics and WHY was there none about these two? To anyone who loves them and read about them? I read six of crows the first time about a month ago and I'm in love with them.

Yes, I did too!! And their enemies-to-lovers arc is SO amazing! Their quotes, their energy, their everything! They were definitely my favourite ship in the book, and I'm yet to read Crooked Kingdom, but I hope they stay safe, fingers crossed,

yep. I kind of thought they were a typical YA couple but they slowly grew onto me. and yes, all their conversations were amazing!

I’m in love with them both! They might have been my favorite along with Kanej ☺️ I really loved witnessing how they slowly evolved into a couple. I think the fact that they were constantly kept apart because of their beliefs and warring countries, then eventually able to work with each other’s differences are what made their relationship so special. A well-developed couple at that, and one that does not feel forced at all. Scratch Romeo and Juliet, I WANT NINA AND MATTHIAS 😩💗💞

Oh, and not to mention that the casts were perfect in the show! They portrayed their characters (Nina and Matthias) very well. It’s like falling in love with their chemistry all over again, if not more 🥰

@Sarah, I agree. the way they realized that they were blinded by what they'd been taught esp. Matthias and realizing how wrong they were by finally experiencing stuff together was amazing.

Yass...Nina and Matthias's relationship progressed from lovers to enemies to friends/partner in crime to lovers again❤ How Matthias realized his misconceptions about Grisha through Nina. And it wasn't just a single moment. There were so many instances when Matthias questioned his beliefs cuz of Nina. Changed them and vowed to change the future generation's too. It's not easy to question something you have been taught since childhood and change accordingly. But Matthias was ready to do all that for her.
And Nina, the way she loved him, just being her best self. She didn't give up on him, she knew she made a mistake albeit to save herself still she was ready to make amends with him.❤
They were so good together. It felt so realistic. Their witty banters and cute moments. ughh Helnik!! I love them so much.

I loved this chemistry and enemies to lovers! I thought it was really, really cute when they fought. I am so excited to see what happens when I read Crooked Kingdom. I love how it was enemies to lovers to enemies to maybe-lovers to enemies as an act and then whatever they are now. Friends-ish I guess.

@Runaway butterfly, yes. not only for her but because he realized he was right and he was just blinded by all that was taught to him.

and the best part about Nina was that she never lied to him. she was always truthful even when saying she'd never betray her people.

Nina and Matthias have such an adorable relationship. Their banter makes me laugh. I have not read crooked kingdom but I am nervous...

Unpopular opinion: I actually like Matthias and Nina better in the show, their actors have so much chemistry together. I didn't hate them in the books, but they were overshadowed by Kaz and Inej.

I love Nina & Matthias together! They were so cute together I couldn't handle it haha.

I actually thought in SoC I enjoyed reading about them more than in CK. In SoC I remember just waiting to read more of the banter between them! It was so fun! In CK there was so much happening with Kaz/Inej and Jesper/Wylan. Matthias and Nina weren’t as exciting but I didn’t like them any less than I had in SoC. It was just different

I love Nina and Matthias! They were the best part of the show and Matthias’ character development was superior. I’m still really (spoiler) sad about their ending !
