Tug-naciously Reading

Whoever wants to be scorekeeper can set up our reporting thread that way.

I don’t mind being scorekeeper. Do I have to do a spreadsheet or can I keep up with it and report it on the thread? I don’t mind the work, it’s the process! I did see where you start a new topic…

I've done a bit of gophering. Here are my options: (view spoiler)

I am practicing with spreadsheets. I guess someone else will need to do that part, but hope to be able to do it in the future.

You can read anything that fits the tasks, but you are awarded points based on the length.
Scoring:
As with real tug-o-war, some people are stronger pullers. For our game, some books pull harder. Therefor, the books will be weighted as follows:
175-274 pages = 1 point
275-374 pages = 2 points
375-474 pages = 3 points
475+ pages = 4 point

Female MC:

Female representation:

Male(s) on cover:

Male author:The Forgotten Room- 2 pts
Female narrator-Listen to The Thin Place - 2 pts
Female representation- Read- The Mother's Mistake - 2 pts
Might get another audio and that romance book (possible if I finish with 3 mentioned)...
Saddly, only committing to 6 pts

One more question:
Male on cover? There is no face, but definitely male.
Badd Ass"
I'm going to read

Lol... seen that to late. Deleted my post because of it... but you beat me with a reply

My options:
・Female MC: The Diva Haunts the House (2 pts), Beyond Me (2 pts), The Stolen Girls (3 pts) Our Castle by the Sea (2 pts)
・Male author: The Wheel on the School (2 pts), The Wind in the Willows (1 pts), Coraline (1 pts), The Witches (1 pts)
・Male on cover: Forge (2 pts)
For the time being, I'll commit to 2-3 books

You don't need to do a spreadsheet. You can do it with paper and pencil if you like. You could do it right on the reporting thread. I think this one is going to be easy to track. Just list each person on the team, then add up the scores for their books and then total for the team.

I just thought of another one - Tug One, Pull All.
Any other ideas?

Well, I am but feeling better about it and having a model helps. I am old enough to remember doing them as a school administrator years ago and having to use all of the formulas, etc. Google docs was way easier! This old dog may not be too old to learn new tricks. Plus my daughter helped me import it. (I took notes!) We’ll see! LOL!

Raising Wrecker for female author.
But I can take some thin books to read also."
We have male author, male on cover... That is a boy on cover though :)

These are my favourites too.

Oh, sorry, I've read 'female author'! But it counts for 'female MC'.

Home 176pgs (Female MC)
The Martian Chronicles 182pgs (Male author)
Star Nomad 253pgs (Female MC)
In the Blood 280pgs (Female MC)
River Marked 290pgs (Female MC)
I'm thinking I'll start with Home as it is the shortest book and I'll definitely be able to finish that in the week. Then I will pick up River Marked as it's familiar and I like the series.

Sounds good!

But, of course! Well done!

I plan on starting with
The Tao of Bill Murray: Real-Life Stories of Joy, Enlightenment, and Party Crashing and
The Penelopiad
