Veronica shouldn't be so hard on herself. I know she read *at least* one of the S&L picks while she was away - The House in the Cerulean Sea. A book which, by the way, has come under a lot of fire from indigenous readers because of something the author said earlier this week. Phew!

I’m just imagining Veronica shouting into one of those teddy bears that has a baby monitor built into it.

Also (now that I'm back home at a keyboard): If you can't get into Strange & Norrell the book, I'd say the BBC series is worth checking out as a way to get the highlights of the story.

I've only just started listening and while I've definitely enjoyed the guest hosts, it feels good to have the team back together again. Welcome back, Veronica, and so far it's a good show (this entire no commute to work thing means my listening time is sooo much reduced).

I listened to this podcast on a recent work trip, and I'm excited to check out the io9 list. I also had never considered listening to Piranesi as an audio book, but now I'm kinda intrigued since Veronica said it was so good.
