Personality: Bella is a strong girl who believes in equality. She is shy when you first meet her but as you get to know her she shows you her crazy side. She has trust issues due to her old "boyfriend". If you ever see her cry or break down it means she trusts you with her whole being.

History/story: She was born August 8th. She grew up in a cool/autumn type of climate. This meant she had to layer. She had a boyfriend that cheated on her from the age of 14-16. This was where her trust issues came from. To cope she started to read book after book after book. She put herself in other worlds to forget about all her heartbreak. When the Letter for the selection arrived she didn't know what to do. She didn't want to leave her family. The prince looked kind and perfect and ending up deciding to give it a chance. She knew the only bad thing would be that she wasn't chosen and could check the prince off the list of people before she met her forever person. She started to cry, joyful tears when she was chosen and her picture filled up the TV in there living room.

Family : A mother that had her at the age of 17 with her father who was 19 at the time. She had little siblings a girl, 12 and a boy, 14.

Talents and abilities: A talented song writer and singer and an a poet

Likes: Books, singing and dancing

Dislikes: Selfishness, un equality, bulling, judging someone before you get to know them.

History/story: Born on May 5. Is really good at math and loves helping people and animals. Has only been in love once before he broke her heart when he told her friends that he never had a crush on her. Been a singer basically since she was born and knows how to play the viola.

Personality: Eira is a big introvert. Kendra is the outgoing twin. She's loud enough that Eira can blend into the background, right where she prefers to be. History/story: Eira was born on April 12th to a family of performers. Her mother, a former 3, went to a circus while on vacation in Clermont (Celeste's province). While there, she met a charming magician and despite the differences in their castes, they quickly fell in love and were married a year later. Eira has grown up her whole life traveling and performing with the circus. She signed up for the Selection at the urging of her family, and only because she knew how slim the chances were of actually being chosen.
Family (siblings, parents, etc): Eira has a mother and father; an older brother with a wife and infant; and a twin sister Kendra. The rest of the troupe feels like family to her though.

Personality: Comes off as a bit intimidating, but can be really kind to those that she knows. Aviva is a bit flirtatious and likes to be in the center of attention. As much as she loves social life and being the life of the party, Aviva enjoys spending time in nature and having time to herself every once in a while.
History/story: Aviva was born on May 4 in caste 2. Her mother and father were models (her mom still is one but her father is retired) so she took after them and became a model as well as doing a bit of acting on the side. She has a twin sister, Anwyn who is her best friend but is practically the opposite of her. Aviva has dated other models and actors off and on, but nothing too serious. Most relationships that she has been in have been set up by her parents, she has never really had the chance to 'fall in love'. She entered the Selection because her parents pressured her to, and she has some ideas on what will help the country.

History/story:
She fell in love with a caste 5 boy a year ago. But due to the draft, he was taken away and died in the war. And bcz of the Aline hates the government and the royal family. She did not want to enter the Selection but the only reason she did was so that she could somehow find a way to take revenge on the royal family for taking her lover away

Name: Cobie Abigail Johnson (Alias for last name in Selection: Mannon)
Age: 19
Caste: born a 6, used sly, underhanded methods to enter the Selection as a 4--so what shows up on records is a 4 because she had pretty much no chance of getting in as a 6
Appearance (please include a working link/picture): Cobie has bright green eyes; pale skin; a few faint freckles across her cheeks and nose. She is around 5’ 10”, so fairly tall, with a muscular body. She has dark brown hair, wavy, that she often pulls into a low ponytail or a thick French or Dutch braid down her back. She has a thinner face and high cheekbones, and a scar on the front of her left shoulder and another behind her right knee. She has rougher hands from using guns and working a lot, and scars across her back from an incident when she was ten.

Personality: Cobie is a very emotionally tough individual, and she is hard around the edges and not easy to speak to. Sarcastic and witty, she likes to poke fun at people and crack dry jokes. For the most part she does not care how her words or actions impact others, especially anyone of a higher caste, and hardly ever minces her words; she won’t put up with hardcore bullying and abuse, though, and draws the line there. But as she was chosen in the Selection as is there with a mission, she has to mince her words and have a filter, which as challenging as it for her, she knows she needs to as she lives in the northern rebels’ cause with her whole heart.
Since she was a small child, Cobie has always had an explosive temper, and she often looses her cool in situations where people start arguing with her, which is one of her larger weaknesses. Despite all of this and a hard, stony exterior to most people, she has a very soft spot for her family and anyone downtrodden by the government or anyone who wants to push people around for no good reason. Her family and the Northern Rebels mean the world to her, and she would gladly and willingly sacrifice her life if it meant her family gets to live or the cause gets what they need.
She disagrees with the casualty numbers of the Southern Rebels even though she is unafraid to kill someone if she absolutely has to, even though it will always be as a last resort; but if she is angry and wants revenge, she may kill and then regret it. She can be aggressive and violent, her limit is usually killing people. Skilled with shooting guns and hand to hand combat and using similar weaponry, she is tactical and smart. In terms of book intelligence/subjects typically taught in school such as math and science, however, she struggles with retaining the information, and patience is not her strong suit and never was, hence leading her to be a bit rash sometimes.
She is unafraid to steal from people if it helps others live, and will also exact revenge on those who hurt her twin sister and her loved ones--her mom and the rebels.
Even to others her age and of other castes, and even some in the rebels, she can bee harsh and unfriendly, and prefers being alone and for the most part finds people distrustful and suspicious, and would rather not engage in conversation with them. She likes to be active and hates waiting around and sitting and relaxing, thinking it all a waste of her time. She hates dressing up and dancing. It takes a very long time to earn Cobie’s trust.
Deep down, she’s kind of insecure, however, and yet also temperamental, stubborn, prideful, and kind of has an ego.

History/story: {Trigger Warning, bullying and abuse} Cobie was born in Hudson to Treanna and Anden Johnson, as Caste 6. Her parents worked as housekeepers/servants to a wealthier family of 2s, and that was all that was expected of Cobie and Caledonia, as well. The twins began working at the same house for that family when they were seven, but Caledonia found herself bullied frequently by the family's two spoiled children. As much as Caledonia tried to ignore it, Cobie would have none of it, and when she was ten, eventually ended up pushing both of the kids into a pool in revenge and later, setting the curtains in their room on fire to avenge her sister's mistreatment, while framing one of the wealthy family's children.
However, one of the parents found out about what had happened, watching the security footage, and Cobie was whipped in the square for her disobedience and her family lost their jobs. Enraged with her, her father turned his ten year old daughter out to the streets to fend for herself against her mother's wishes, and Cobie technically became an untouchable.
It was in this time that her father began mistreating her mom and sister out of his job loss rage as they struggled to find a new one, and Cobie would peer in the house to check on both of them when everyone else was asleep, her rage growing each day. She had began to steal and fend for herself to keep herself alive, living in an alleyway and hiding out, enraged at the royal family and the 2s and her own father. When she was twelve, she was caught stealing food for herself and her family--she had secretly dropped off what she could to help her mom and Cala--and was almost whipped again before someone shot the soldiers and grabbed her, knocking her out and taking her with them.
Cobie woke up deep in the woods to find a group of people who claimed to be Northern Rebels, who said they'd been keeping an eye on her for awhile now, and had determined to save her and told them of their plans and dislike of the way the monarchy ran things. Hot-headed and angry, she asked to join them, and the leader at the time agreed to take her under his or her wing and train her, and she cut a deal with the rebels to rescue her mother and sister from her dad.
So the Northern Rebels attacked her home the next night and saved her mom and sister, taking them with them, but the deal required Cobie to do whatever they asked. She saw no reason to refuse, and since then has helped them and started to believe more fully in their ideologies. The only reason she prefers them to the Southern rebels is because when she is clear-headed she knows enough about the fact she doesn't want mass casualties, or to take the throne.
While she is furious at the royals, she also does not want them all murdered in cold blood, but wouldn't mind revenge and a better system, even if it does come at the cost of deaths of people who in her mind are terrible. She became close to the Northern rebel leader and she saw him as more of a father figure than her actual father, who she knows was a drunk and a lower caste because he never could find work, and eventually died of heart failure when she was fifteen. And while she hated him for what he'd done, she blamed the system for what happened.
When Cobie was nineteen, the rebels asked her to enter the Selection. Absolutely horrified, she refused, but then remembered she'd agreed to help them--so she knows that maybe she was being manipulated, but at this point she agreed fully with them, and the leaders probably would not have forced her if she had declined-- and she did want the inside information, and so she agreed, and found ways around the system to lie about her caste and enter as a 4, with a false surname and history. She is only there to find ways in, find intel that would help the Rebels, and to try and get close to the prince for more information, even if that means she has to set aside her tendencies for some revenge and sarcasm and pretend to fall in love with him, much to her disgust.

History/story: Mom was a 4 dad was a 5,her mom had her in a refined hospital and after she was born her parents got married and married down making her family a 5.Kyla had to leave hospital later than should have been because of a condition with her eyes. She mostly grew up on her own with babysitters coming and going. Was independent and shy as a child. When she found her passion for singing however,she was able to speak through song saying all she needed to without actually saying it.
Family (siblings, parents, etc): Parents struggle with finance and are always working. One younger sister 9 yrs old,shy and quiet.One brother whos 14 and steps in as the man in the house a lot.

oh no its fine i can see how itd be confusing. i was trying to say that shes shy around people and big events but eventually warms up.And i was trying to say that when she does warm up shes social and brave and all that.
