Lucy and Josh are assistants to the CEOs of two very different publishing companies that have now merged with co-CEOs. Lucy grew up on a strawberry farm, shops vintage and believes in a colorful kind life. Josh is more corporate with the regular suits and makes the hard decisions leaving many at work terrified of him. Lucy is not scared but it has been hate at first sight creating a war like atmosphere in the office as they enjoy antagonizing each other. When a new office COO position is created, the competition reaches another level but at the same time, they get to know each other a bit more outside of the office and sparks fly.

Very cute, clever and fun for light rom com read. Fun personalities, quirky side characters and clever word play made this all enjoyable. However there was unneeded obsession with appearance which while a part of the personality trait, was just too much. As Josh would say, there is more to him than his muscles.
